LEVITICUS 4:
 ¹And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
 ²Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a soul shall sin through ignorance against any of the commandments of the LORD concerning things which ought not to be done, and shall do against any of them:
 ³If the priest that is anointed do sin according to the sin of the people; then let him bring for his sin, which he hath sinned, a young bullock without blemish unto the LORD for a sin offering.
 ⁴And he shall bring the bullock unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the LORD; and shall lay his hand upon the bullock's head, and kill the bullock before the LORD.
 ⁵And the priest that is anointed shall take of the bullock's blood, and bring it to the tabernacle of the congregation:
 ⁶And the priest shall dip his finger in the blood, and sprinkle of the blood seven times before the LORD, before the vail of the sanctuary.
 ⁷And the priest shall put some of the blood upon the horns of the altar of sweet incense before the LORD, which is in the tabernacle of the congregation; and shall pour all the blood of the bullock at the bottom of the altar of the burnt offering, which is at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
 ⁸And he shall take off from it all the fat of the bullock for the sin offering; the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards,
 ⁹And the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, which is by the flanks, and the caul above the liver, with the kidneys, it shall he take away,
 ¹⁰As it was taken off from the bullock of the sacrifice of peace offerings: and the priest shall burn them upon the altar of the burnt offering.
 ¹¹And the skin of the bullock, and all his flesh, with his head, and with his legs, and his inwards, and his dung,
 ¹²Even the whole bullock shall he carry forth without the camp unto a clean place, where the ashes are poured out, and burn him on the wood with fire: where the ashes are poured out shall he be burnt.
 ¹³And if the whole congregation of Israel sin through ignorance, and the thing be hid from the eyes of the assembly, and they have done somewhat against any of the commandments of the LORD concerning things which should not be done, and are guilty;
 ¹⁴When the sin, which they have sinned against it, is known, then the congregation shall offer a young bullock for the sin, and bring him before the tabernacle of the congregation.
 ¹⁵And the elders of the congregation shall lay their hands upon the head of the bullock before the LORD: and the bullock shall be killed before the LORD.
 ¹⁶And the priest that is anointed shall bring of the bullock's blood to the tabernacle of the congregation:
 ¹⁷And the priest shall dip his finger in some of the blood, and sprinkle it seven times before the LORD, even before the vail.
 ¹⁸And he shall put some of the blood upon the horns of the altar which is before the LORD, that is in the tabernacle of the congregation, and shall pour out all the blood at the bottom of the altar of the burnt offering, which is at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
 ¹⁹And he shall take all his fat from him, and burn it upon the altar.
 ²⁰And he shall do with the bullock as he did with the bullock for a sin offering, so shall he do with this: and the priest shall make an atonement for them, and it shall be forgiven them.
 ²¹And he shall carry forth the bullock without the camp, and burn him as he burned the first bullock: it is a sin offering for the congregation.
 ²²When a ruler hath sinned, and done somewhat through ignorance against any of the commandments of the LORD his God concerning things which should not be done, and is guilty;
 ²³Or if his sin, wherein he hath sinned, come to his knowledge; he shall bring his offering, a kid of the goats, a male without blemish:
 ²⁴And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the goat, and kill it in the place where they kill the burnt offering before the LORD: it is a sin offering.
 ²⁵And the priest shall take of the blood of the sin offering with his finger, and put it upon the horns of the altar of burnt offering, and shall pour out his blood at the bottom of the altar of burnt offering.
 ²⁶And he shall burn all his fat upon the altar, as the fat of the sacrifice of peace offerings: and the priest shall make an atonement for him as concerning his sin, and it shall be forgiven him.
 ²⁷And if any one of the common people sin through ignorance, while he doeth somewhat against any of the commandments of the LORD concerning things which ought not to be done, and be guilty;
 ²⁸Or if his sin, which he hath sinned, come to his knowledge: then he shall bring his offering, a kid of the goats, a female without blemish, for his sin which he hath sinned.
 ²⁹And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the sin offering, and slay the sin offering in the place of the burnt offering.
 ³⁰And the priest shall take of the blood thereof with his finger, and put it upon the horns of the altar of burnt offering, and shall pour out all the blood thereof at the bottom of the altar. (Leviticus 4, King James Version)

Peace Offering. The Fellowship Offering (Leviticus 3:1-17; 7:11-34; 19:5-8; 22:29-30). By: Bob Deffinbaugh.

Bob Deffinbaugh wrote, "The newly born church manifested its life and fellowship by sharing meals from “house to house” (Acts 2:46). One of the greatest barriers between the Jewish believers and the Gentile saints was that of eating (cf. Acts 10 & 11). Thus, when Peter departed from what God had taught him in this passage, Paul rebuked him for departing from the very essence of the gospel (Gal. 2:11-21).

The coming of our Lord and joy and peace experienced by true believers at this time are thus appropriately described in “banquet terms”:


And I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude and as the sound of many waters and as the sound of mighty peals of thunder, saying, “Hallelujah! For the Lord our God, the Almighty, reigns. Let us rejoice and be glad and give the glory to Him, for the marriage of the Lamb has come and His bride has made herself ready … And he said to me, “Write, ‘Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb.’” And he said to me, “These are the true words of God” (Rev. 19:6-7, 9).

The dinner table has become much more secular to us than it ever was to the people of earlier times. I suspect that some of this is due to the pace of our lives, and to the instant “TV” dinners, which are eaten before the TV, rather than at the table, or which are gulped down at a “fast food” chain outlet. How much we can make of the meal table is suggested by the Peace Offering meal of the Old Testament, and by the Lord’s Table of the New. May God enable us to make more of the meal table, and to meditate more on the peace which Christ has won for us on the cross. (Jeff Deffinbaugh)."

I encourage you to read the entire study of the lesson because this is a good perspective on sitting down with a church organization to celebrate banquets and roasts. As a matter of fact, I was not aware that many religious organizations are limited to the directives of conferences and conventions. I have noticed the behaviours of many members religious denominations are appalling and unbelievable and a third, fourth and fifth wave of apostasy or as we say counterfeit christianity. However, I do not want universal understanding and fellowship with a radical. Many people can not fellowship with another person from a different religious denomination or background because not only are they different, many are brain washed from knowing the truth, and the fundamentalist want to keep you as their little servant (John 10:1).

In the book of Levitics the sin Offering is hope for three categories of people, the Jewish Royalty which is the anointed priest; an individual person then let him offer a young bull without blemish as a sin offering. He shall bring the young bull to the door of tabernacle, and the offering will take place at the altar of burnt offering that is at the door of the tabernacle of meeting ((Leviticus 4:2,3). The detailed instructions of the how to offer a sacrifice as God commanded is in Leviticus 4:8-11. Remember if you were not in the congregation of Israel, then your ancestors were probably more than likely pagan, and children and people are still sacrificed today, so please read this chapter.  The other category of people a sin offering at the burnt offering is performed is for the whole congregation of Israel (Leviticus 4:13). The reasons why the whole congregation would have to partake in a sin offering is because the sin is uunintentional and the thing is hidden from the yes of the saembly and they have done something against the commandments of the LORD. Going against a commandment of the LORD is not an option, so don't fool yourself, you are blatently guilty of your transgressions and iniquity. Therefore, a man or the anointed priest or the congregation of Israel is commanded to bring their sacrifice to the Temple door; because you need to be clean of your guilt and you had to bring your sin offering to the Temple. I guess the general population waited and hoped for the Messiah.

Nevertheless, the sin offering for the congregation of Israel is like the offering for individual and the annointed priest (Leviticus 4:6-7). Likewise, the sin offering is as it shall be taken from the young bull of the sacrifice of the peace offering; and the priest shall burn them on the altar of the burnt offering (Leviticus 4:8-11,14-20).

Next, we review the procedures for the sin offering of a ruler, when he has done something unintentional against any of the commandments of the LORD his God.  Going against a commandment of the LORD is not an option, so don't fool yourself, you are blatently guilty of your transgressions and iniquity. Therefore, a man or the anointed priest or the congregation of Israel is commanded to bring their sacrifice to the Temple door; because you need to be clean of your guilt and you had to bring your sin offering, a kid of the goats, a male without blemish to the Temple. I guess the general population waited and hoped for the Messiah. The steps of the sin offering for a ruler are discussed in detail at Leviticus 4:23-26.

Lastly, review the procedures for the sin offering of a common people, when anyone has done something unintentional against any of the commandments of the LORD his God. Going against a commandment of the LORD is not an option, so don't fool yourself, you are blatently guilty of your transgressions and iniquity. Therefore, a man or the anointed priest or the congregation of Israel is commanded to bring their sacrifice to the Temple door; because you need to be clean of your guilt and you had to bring your sin offering, a kid of the goats, a male without blemish to the Temple. To conclude the commentary of application of ancient sacrifices for the offense against the LORD, the thing that you shall not do. After the sacrifice of a young bull or a kid of a goat or a female lamb is brought to the tabernacle of meeting, then the annointed priest with the assistance of the elders shall bring some of the tabernacle of the meeting. Then the priest shall dip his finger int he blood and sprinikle it seven times before the LORD, in front of the veil (Leviticus 4:6,17). As it is done for the peace offering, the priest shall put some of the blood on the horns of the altar of sweet incense before the LORD.

The sin of the congregation shall be done as it is done with the young bull - the priest shall make atonement for them, and they shall be forgiven. The sin of the ruler shall be done as it is done with the young bull, a young kid of a goat, a male without blemish, it is a sin offering and shall be presented before the the priest shall make atonement for them, and they shall be forgiven. (Leviticus 4:20,26,35). I could go on and on and I hope that I am not missing anything but this is how you made an offering before the LORD. You had to know how to cut, you had to be clean and anti-septic, you had to know when you could or couldn't go near the veil. You had to wear the right clothes and the item that we call food, such as grain or lamb had to have a sweet aroma. You know my saying if it doesn't look right and smell right then it is not acceptable.

Leviticus 5:

The trespass offering discusses what our eyes see and our ears here. I know absolutely that I should help build the third temple, so as an oath that is witnessed as a perpetual heritage many of us must keep our family traditions and our heritages so that we have a unique culturistic identity. Jesus continued to pray to stay on mark with his mission, His ministry. If Jesus was not preachinig the gospel, then alot of times you could find Him praying. Now that Jesus has ascended on high, it's up to you and me to pray for forgiveness, repent and mean it. No excusses whatsoever can be accepted. Jesus gave forgiveness and cleaned unclean spirits through prayer to His Father. We all aspire to be children of God, sons and daughters of God. Jesus is the first born of the resurrection, Jesus physically resurrected from the cross on Golgotha, this is an Oath that my family heard and saw with their very own eyes and have the faith, the physical evidence to back it up.

In the fifth chapter of Leviticus, the order of forgiveness required brinig a female flrom the flock of herd, a lamb or a kid of the goat as a sin offering, as well as a trespass offering (Leviticus 5:6). There is a distinction made for a person who can not afford to present a herd for the sin offering, the exception to the commandment of the LORD, according to Moses is that you bring two turtledoves or two young pigeons: one as sin offering and the other as a burn offering. The priest will make an atonement on his behalf for his sin offering he has committed and it shall be forgiven him (Leviticus 5:10).

The trespass offering is very also comes with restitution. The restitution against the holy things requires the offender to bring a a ram without blemish forom the flocks with your valuation shekels of silver. The priest shall make atonement on behalf of the person that commits the trespass whether he erred or did not know it. The ram shall be brought at the valuation of the sanctuary shekels

I think prayer is the beginning of the submission to the will of God. I am not one to judge. In the end, it will be you and God. Just remember Jesus said he has all authority of Heaven and Earth, to judge. (Matthew 28:18-19). Jesus is Lord. Jesus is my eternal High Priest. Jesus is the Son of God. Amen.

Leviticus 5:1-5: Trespass Offering
 ¹And if a soul sin, and hear the voice of swearing, and is a witness, whether he hath seen or known of it; if he do not utter it, then he shall bear his iniquity.
 ²Or if a soul touch any unclean thing, whether it be a carcase of an unclean beast, or a carcase of unclean cattle, or the carcase of unclean creeping things, and if it be hidden from him; he also shall be unclean, and guilty.
 ³Or if he touch the uncleanness of man, whatsoever uncleanness it be that a man shall be defiled withal, and it be hid from him; when he knoweth of it, then he shall be guilty.
 ⁴Or if a soul swear, pronouncing with his lips to do evil, or to do good, whatsoever it be that a man shall pronounce with an oath, and it be hid from him; when he knoweth of it, then he shall be guilty in one of these. (Leviticus 5:1-4, King James Version)

Leviticus 5:14-19: Offerings with Restitution
 ¹⁴And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
 ¹⁵If a soul commit a trespass, and sin through ignorance, in the holy things of the LORD; then he shall bring for his trespass unto the LORD a ram without blemish out of the flocks, with thy estimation by shekels of silver, after the shekel of the sanctuary, for a trespass offering.
 ¹⁶And he shall make amends for the harm that he hath done in the holy thing, and shall add the fifth part thereto, and give it unto the priest: and the priest shall make an atonement for him with the ram of the trespass offering, and it shall be forgiven him.
 ¹⁷And if a soul sin, and commit any of these things which are forbidden to be done by the commandments of the LORD; though he wist it not, yet is he guilty, and shall bear his iniquity.
 ¹⁸And he shall bring a ram without blemish out of the flock, with thy estimation, for a trespass offering, unto the priest: and the priest shall make an atonement for him concerning his ignorance wherein he erred and wist it not, and it shall be forgiven him.

Matthew 17:
The Transfiguration - Matthew 17:1-13
 ¹ Now after six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John his brother, led them up on a high mountain by themselves; ² and He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light. ³ And behold, Moses and Elijah appeared to them, talking with Him. ⁴ Then Peter answered and said to Jesus, “Lord, it is good for us to be here; if You wish, let us make here three tabernacles: one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.”
⁵ While he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them; and suddenly a voice came out of the cloud, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Hear Him!” ⁶ And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their faces and were greatly afraid. ⁷ But Jesus came and touched them and said, “Arise, and do not be afraid.” ⁸ When they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no one but Jesus only.
⁹ Now as they came down from the mountain, Jesus commanded them, saying, “Tell the vision to no one until the Son of Man is risen from the dead.”
¹⁰ And His disciples asked Him, saying, “Why then do the scribes say that Elijah must come first?”
¹¹ Jesus answered and said to them, “Indeed, Elijah is coming first and will restore all things. ¹² But I say to you that Elijah has come already, and they did not know him but did to him whatever they wished. Likewise the Son of Man is also about to suffer at their hands.” ¹³ Then the disciples understood that He spoke to them of John the Baptist.

The Healing of the Boy with a Demon
Matthew 17:14-xx - ¹⁴ And when they had come to the multitude, a man came to Him, kneeling down to Him and saying, ¹⁵ “Lord, have mercy on my son, for he is an epileptic and suffers severely; for he often falls into the fire and often into the water. ¹⁶ So I brought him to Your disciples, but they could not cure him.”
¹⁷ Then Jesus answered and said, “O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I bear with you? Bring him here to Me.” ¹⁸ And Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of him; and the child was cured from that very hour.
¹⁹ Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, “Why could we not cast it out?”
²⁰ So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. ²¹ However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.”   
²² Now while they were staying in Galilee, Jesus said to them, “The Son of Man is about to be betrayed into the hands of men, ²³ and they will kill Him, and the third day He will be raised up.” And they were exceedingly sorrowful.

The Temple Tax
Matthew 17:24-26 - ²⁴ When they had come to Capernaum, those who received the temple tax came to Peter and said, “Does your Teacher not pay the temple tax?”
²⁵ He said, “Yes.” And when he had come into the house, Jesus anticipated him, saying, “What do you think, Simon? From whom do the kings of the earth take customs or taxes, from their sons or from strangers?”
²⁶ Peter said to Him, “From strangers.” Jesus said to him, “Then the sons are free.
²⁷ Nevertheless, lest we offend them, go to the sea, cast in a hook, and take the fish that comes up first. And when you have opened its mouth, you will find a piece of money; take that and give it to them for Me and you.” (Matthew 17, New King James Version)

Mark 1: The Gospel of Mark, Chapter One

Leviticus Five References for Disciples:

 ¹Now the feast of unleavened bread drew nigh, which is called the Passover.
 ²And the chief priests and scribes sought how they might kill him; for they feared the people.
 ³Then entered Satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve.
 ⁴And he went his way, and communed with the chief priests and captains, how he might betray him unto them.
 ⁵And they were glad, and covenanted to give him money.
 ⁶And he promised, and sought opportunity to betray him unto them in the absence of the multitude.
 ⁷Then came the day of unleavened bread, when the passover must be killed.
 ⁸And he sent Peter and John, saying, Go and prepare us the passover, that we may eat.
 ⁹And they said unto him, Where wilt thou that we prepare?
 ¹⁰And he said unto them, Behold, when ye are entered into the city, there shall a man meet you, bearing a pitcher of water; follow him into the house where he entereth in.
 ¹¹And ye shall say unto the goodman of the house, The Master saith unto thee, Where is the guestchamber, where I shall eat the passover with my disciples?
 ¹²And he shall shew you a large upper room furnished: there make ready.
 ¹³And they went, and found as he had said unto them: and they made ready the passover.
 ¹⁴And when the hour was come, he sat down, and the twelve apostles with him.
 ¹⁵And he said unto them, With desire I have desired to eat this passover with you before I suffer:
 ¹⁶For I say unto you, I will not any more eat thereof, until it be fulfilled in the kingdom of God.
 ¹⁷And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, Take this, and divide it among yourselves:
 ¹⁸For I say unto you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God shall come.
 ¹⁹And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.
 ²⁰Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.
 ²¹But, behold, the hand of him that betrayeth me is with me on the table.
 ²²And truly the Son of man goeth, as it was determined: but woe unto that man by whom he is betrayed!
 ²³And they began to enquire among themselves, which of them it was that should do this thing.
 ²⁴And there was also a strife among them, which of them should be accounted the greatest.
 ²⁵And he said unto them, The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and they that exercise authority upon them are called benefactors.
 ²⁶But ye shall not be so: but he that is greatest among you, let him be as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that doth serve.
 ²⁷For whether is greater, he that sitteth at meat, or he that serveth? is not he that sitteth at meat? but I am among you as he that serveth.
 ²⁸Ye are they which have continued with me in my temptations.
 ²⁹And I appoint unto you a kingdom, as my Father hath appointed unto me;
 ³⁰That ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel. (Luke 22, King James Version)
