On Saturday, August 7th, 2010  the  memorial parsha is read by the Disciples of Jesus or a chapter of your choosing.

In this memorial portion we cover two chapter, chapter twelve in the book of Deuteronomy that reminds us that there is one place to worship, Jerusalem. Moses commanded that You shall follow the ways of the LORD Thy God, and you will know that the divine presence of the LORD was once over the Temple Mount, on the Mount of God, in Jerusalem. Moses went on to say that you must not worship the LORD Thy God in that way, the way the heathens worship their gods. Among the twelve tribes, God chose a dwelling place, in the possession of Judah, on the other side of the Jordan; God has put his name on Jerusalem, Zion.

First Fruits
Moses commanded that you Jerusalem is the place you must go; there bring your burnt offerings and sacrifices, your tithes and special gifts, what you have vowed to give and your freewill offerings, and the firstborn of your herds and flocks. There, in the presence of the LORD your God, you and your families shall eat and shall rejoice in everything you have put your hand to, because the LORD your God has blessed you. (Deuteronomy 12:6-7). After you have set aside a tenth of your first fruits. Eat the tithe of your grain, new wine and oil, and the firstborn of your herds and flocks in the presence of the LORD your God at the place he will choose as a dwelling for his Name, so that you may learn to revere the LORD your God always. (Deuteronomy 14:23). Then you and your household shall eat there in the presence of the LORD your God and rejoice.  And do not neglect the Levities living in your towns, for they have no allotment or inheritance of their own. (Deuteronomy 14:27).

The word of God was commanded at the hand of goes back to the book of Exodus in chapter three. Moses did not know that he had the Rod of Men, until God told him so and that it would heal men of plagues; part the red sea; smote a rock for water. Yet if you listen to the command of Moses you gates will not be destroyed by a city filled with abomination, the sins that can be preached: homelessness, hunger, poverty; sexual perversion against minors and against unwilling or consenting adults; human exploitation and trafficking; genocide; racism and supremacy; white collar corruption: hedge fund fraud, retirement fraud, mortgage fraud; recession; inflation; high crime index, murder, robbery; diseases and epidemics; communicable and transmittable diseases; and all the diseases that have and will be put on Egypt. (Exodus 15:25-26). All of the social problems every imaginable and ever known to man will continue to destroy you; except that you preach the Gospel of Jesus, to counter the sin with truth that is a healer, a deliverer, savior, King of Israel, and Son of David, and always making Disciples of all men. The enemy will destroy your household, once he enters the gates of a city; and ultimately the sword will come upon household and cause division. (Matthew 10:35). Jesus said, don't think that he came to bring peace to the earth but a sword. When you follow Jesus, you will be persecuted, and the enemy will attack the fruit of your body. In the case that your household is attacked there are two pre-requisites for being His Disciple; the first one being acknowledgment of Him. (Matthew 10:32-39). The second pre-requisite is to be worthy of the Lord Jesus. When you receive Jesus, you receive the One and True God, the God that sent Jesus. (Matthew 10:40-42)

When division is so contentious in the home, then evil will continue to disrupt your family because your home has been attacked from the outside, sibling rivalry, backbiting your parents, orphans, widows are the end result of the manifestation of the enemy. Apostle James said the true church would care for the orphans and the widows. (James 1:27).

Miracles in you will be than the day before. Once the security of having a home is compromised it will be had to get on the right track to encourage your faith. Now don’t get me wrong, but some people can operate on what Paul had and less, because we know the meek will inherit the earth.

Finally, Moses could not deliver the children of Israel out of the house bondage, in the land of Egypt until he knew what he had in his hand. The scripture says hat God told him you have a Rod. Next God told Moses to put his hand in his bosom. Well you know the rest of the story, “The Rod in Moses’ hand was used to promote the belief that the LORD God is God, the LORD Your of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob appears unto you because Moses is a prophet, the servant of the LORD. (Exodus 3).

Jesus began his public ministry shortly before the death, the beheading of John the Baptist. A false spirit that still exist today, to stop the eternal priesthood; by taking over treasured possessions.  Herod, a descendant of Esau tried to stop the priesthood, but failed to halt the gospel, Jesus said he came for the ones that were halted. Jesus preached repent, the kingdom of heaven is at hand. (Mathew 10:1-15; Mark 3:1-6).

Next Moses commands that the place of the LORD Thy God's choosing will be Jerusalem where you shall bring your first fruit, your tithes, whatever is dear to you, to buy what you like or to exchange for silver. You have the power to bind your money and you shall bind your money, as your first fruit gifts to take and go to Jerusalem. (Matthew 16; and Deuteronomy 14:25-27).  Most importantly you shall eat in Jerusalem at the festivals, you shall not eat unclean animals, they are detestable an abomination to you. Then you shall eat before the LORD Thy God, and his divine glory, Shekinah will be over the place of his choosing, the Holy Temple in Jerusalem for His Name. Lastly, Moses commands that the you shall not forsake the Levite that is within your gate.  The tithe of your increase shall be layed up in your house, then every three years you shall dedicate the tithe. The Levite has no part of your tithe, or your inheritance with you, and the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow that are in your gates shall come and eat and be satisfied; that the LORD Thy God may bless you, in hopefully all your undertakings and desires in all that you do so that life may go well for you and yours. Be blessed.

Deuteronomy 14: Commentary

Moses says you are to the Israelite community, you are children of the Most High God, the God of Israel. You are sons of God. You have the power to make the scriptures true. (John 10:34; Psalm 78:6; Deuteronomy 14:1-2).  Moses says you shall not detestable animals for their consumption is an abomination to you and you shall not touch their carcasses. (Deuteronomy 14:7-8,10,12-19). Moses commands that you shall not eat any unclean birds. Moses commands that you shall not eat any unclean insects. (Deuteronomy 14:19).

Who Am I by the Point of Grace
Who Am I: Terri Fritsch, Marshall Hall, Sam Mizell

I've tried to wrap my mind around the thought of you
I stretched myself so far I nearly come unglued
You hold the universe inside your hands
Still you thought of me
I can't believe

Is there no limit to your love for me
As shallow as this selfish heart can be
You are the maker of reality
And I stand in awe
You are God

Chorus
Who am I
To understand your ways
Who am I
To give you anything but praise
Who am I
To try and solve the mystery
Behind the heart and soul of all that I believe
Who am I

You're every reason for my heart to hope
Creator of the dreams I've yet to know
You are the river for my thirsty soul
You are my desire
You are God

Chorus
I am your child
I will follow, who am I?
You gave your life
For my tomorrow

Chorus

Then Moses commanded that You are a holy people unto the LORD Thy God, and He has chosen you, a peculiar people of God, above all the other nations on earth. (1st Peter 2:5-9; Leviticus 20:26; and Deuteronomy 14:2). Therefore you shall not put tattoos on your body, or shave your heads for the dead. Instead, Moses commanded that "You may eat the creatures in the living water that have fins and scales. Moses commanded that you may eat: the ox, the sheep, the goat, the deer, the gazelle, the roe deer, the wild goat, the ibex, the antelope and the mountain sheep. (Deuteronomy 14:4-7). You may eat any clean thing. (Deuteronomy 14:11). You may eat any clean winged creature. (Deuteronomy 14:20). God is Holy and you shall be holy, therefore, do not eat anything dies of internal causes. (Deuteronomy 14:21; Leviticus 11:32-39). You shall not seeth a kid in his mothers milk.

Moses commanded that you shall eat before the LORD Thy God in the place that he chooses which is in Jerusalem.  God has placed his name in Jerusalem. You shall eat your tithe before the LORD Thy God in Jerusalem; that you may learn to fear the LORD Thy God, forever. Therefore, Moses has put into place the commandments that are forever and eternal for a people, that are sons of God, not slaves of God first tot he Jew and then to the Gentile. Therefore, Moses has commanded that the people shall not eat unclean animals, because the clean animals will be brought to the place of the LORD Thy Gods choosing, which is Jerusalem, the former land of the Jebusites. (1 Kings 8:20-21; 1 Kings 5:2-5; 2 Chronicles 2:3-4; 2 Chronicles 3:1; 2; Chronicles 6:3-6).

The Law of Moses command you to be Holy, not a lunatic or delusional; because you are the sons of God. The elect shall not shave the front of their foreheads for the dead. The elect shall not cut yourselves, or make tattoos. The elect shall not touch the unclean bird, or living things in the water or the living creatures of the ground, or animal or their carcasses because they are unclean to you; they are an abomination and you shall not eat an unclean animal. Moses has already commanded the people that if they are going to be Holy they can't eat an unclean animal, nor present this animal as an acceptable sacrifice and detestable, because at the time the blood sacrifice was necessary for the church. (Leviticus 11:4-7,29; and Deuteronomy 14:3-5,7-8). You may not eat any living creature int he water that does not have fins and scales because it is unclean to you. (Deuteronomy 14:10; and Leviticus 11:10-12). You may not eat the unclean birds, do not eat their meat. (Deuteronom6y 14:12-18). The flying insect is unclean to you because it is an abomination. (Leviticus 11:20-21,23; Leviticus 11:24-25). Every creature that moves about on the ground is unclean, it is an abomination to consume, such creature like the snake or a lizard. (Leviticus 11:29,41-43; Deuteronomy 14:3).

DISCIPLES REFERENCE:

2nd Kings 17:1-4:  Hosea reigns as King of Israel
1 In the twelfth year of Ahaz king of Judah, Hoshea the son of Elah became king of Israel in Samaria, and he reigned nine years. 2 And he did evil in the sight of the LORD, but not as the kings of Israel who were before him. 3 Shalmaneser king of Assyria came up against him; and Hoshea became his vassal, and paid him tribute money. 4 And the king of Assyria uncovered a conspiracy by Hoshea; for he had sent messengers to So, king of Egypt, and brought no tribute to the king of Assyria, as he had done year by year. Therefore the king of Assyria shut him up, and bound him in prison.

2nd Kings 17:5-23:  Israel Carried Captive to Assyria
5 Now the king of Assyria went throughout all the land, and went up to Samaria and besieged it for three years. 6 In the ninth year of Hoshea, the king of Assyria took Samaria and carried Israel away to Assyria, and placed them in Halah and by the Habor, the River of Gozan, and in the cities of the Medes.
7 For so it was that the children of Israel had sinned against the LORD their God, who had brought them up out of the land of Egypt, from under the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt; and they had feared other gods, 8 and had walked in the statutes of the nations whom the LORD had cast out from before the children of Israel, and of the kings of Israel, which they had made. 9 Also the children of Israel secretly did against the LORD their God things that were not right, and they built for themselves high places in all their cities, from watchtower to fortified city. 10 They set up for themselves sacred pillars and wooden images on every high hill and under every green tree. 11 There they burned incense on all the high places, like the nations whom the LORD had carried away before them; and they did wicked things to provoke the LORD to anger, 12 for they served idols, of which the LORD had said to them, “You shall not do this thing.”

13 Yet the LORD testified against Israel and against Judah, by all of His prophets, every seer, saying, “Turn from your evil ways, and keep My commandments and My statutes, according to all the law which I commanded your fathers, and which I sent to you by My servants the prophets.” 14 Nevertheless they would not hear, but stiffened their necks, like the necks of their fathers, who did not believe in the LORD their God. 15 And they rejected His statutes and His covenant that He had made with their fathers, and His testimonies which He had testified against them; they followed idols, became idolaters, and went after the nations who were all around them, concerning whom the LORD had charged them that they should not do like them. 16 So they left all the commandments of the LORD their God, made for themselves a molded image and two calves, made a wooden image and worshiped all the host of heaven, and served Baal. 17 And they caused their sons and daughters to pass through the fire, practiced witchcraft and soothsaying, and sold themselves to do evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke Him to anger. 18 Therefore the LORD was very angry with Israel, and removed them from His sight; there was none left but the tribe of Judah alone.

19 Also Judah did not keep the commandments of the LORD their God, but walked in the statutes of Israel which they made. 20 And the LORD rejected all the descendants of Israel, afflicted them, and delivered them into the hand of plunderers, until He had cast them from His sight. 21 For He tore Israel from the house of David, and they made Jeroboam the son of Nebat king. Then Jeroboam drove Israel from following the LORD, and made them commit a great sin. 22 For the children of Israel walked in all the sins of Jeroboam which he did; they did not depart from them, 23 until the LORD removed Israel out of His sight, as He had said by all His servants the prophets. So Israel was carried away from their own land to Assyria, as it is to this day.

2 Kings 17:24-30:  Assyria Resettles Samaria
24 Then the king of Assyria brought people from Babylon, Cuthah, Ava, Hamath, and from Sepharvaim, and placed them in the cities of Samaria instead of the children of Israel; and they took possession of Samaria and dwelt in its cities. 25 And it was so, at the beginning of their dwelling there, that they did not fear the LORD; therefore the LORD sent lions among them, which killed some of them. 26 So they spoke to the king of Assyria, saying, “The nations whom you have removed and placed in the cities of Samaria do not know the rituals of the God of the land; therefore He has sent lions among them, and indeed, they are killing them because they do not know the rituals of the God of the land.” 27 Then the king of Assyria commanded, saying, “Send there one of the priests whom you brought from there; let him go and dwell there, and let him teach them the rituals of the God of the land.” 28 Then one of the priests whom they had carried away from Samaria came and dwelt in Bethel, and taught them how they should fear the LORD.
29 However every nation continued to make gods of its own, and put them in the shrines on the high places which the Samaritans had made, every nation in the cities where they dwelt. 30 The men of Babylon made Succoth Benoth, the men of Cuth made Nergal, the men of Hamath made Ashima, (2 Kings 17, New King James Version)

Revelations 22:1-21
Revelations 22:1-5:  The River of Life
1And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
2In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
3And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:
4And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.
5And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.

Revelations 22:6-11:  The Time is Near
6And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to shew unto his servants the things which must shortly be done.
7Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.
8And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things.
9Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.
10And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand.
11He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.

Revelations 22:12-17:  Jesus Testifies to the church
12And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.
13I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
14Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
15For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.
16I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.
17And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.

Revelations 22:18-19:  A warning
18For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
19And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

Revelations 22:20-21:  I am coming quickly
20He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
21The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. (Revelation 22:1-21, King James Version)

Revelations 18:2-10,15-17,19-20,24:  The Fall of Babylon
1And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory.
2And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, "Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.
3For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies."
4And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, "Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.
5For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.
6Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double.
7How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.
8Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her.
9And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning,
10Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come.
15The merchants of these things, which were made rich by her, shall stand afar off for the fear of her torment, weeping and wailing,
16And saying, Alas, alas that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls!
17For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off,
19And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate.
20Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and ye holy apostles and prophets; for God hath avenged you on her.
24And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth." (Revelation 18, King James Version)

Titus 2:7-15 Qualities of a Sound Church Trained by Saving Grace
1But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine:
2That the aged men be sober, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in charity, in patience.
 3The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;
4That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,
5To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.
6Young men likewise exhort to be sober minded.
7In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine shewing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity,
8Sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you.
 9Exhort servants to be obedient unto their own masters, and to please them well in all things; not answering again;
10Not purloining, but shewing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things.
11For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
 12Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;
 13Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
14Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
15These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee. (Titus 2, King James Version)

1st Corinthians 1:1-31

Greeting
1 Paul, called to be an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, and Sosthenes our brother,
2 To the church of God which is at Corinth, to those who are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all who in every place call on the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours:
3 Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Spiritual Gifts at Corinth
4 I thank my God always concerning you for the grace of God which was given to you by Christ Jesus, 5 that you were enriched in everything by Him in all utterance and all knowledge, 6 even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you, 7 so that you come short in no gift, eagerly waiting for the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ, 8 who will also confirm you to the end, that you may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

Sectarianism Is Sin

10 Now I plead with you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment. 11 For it has been declared to me concerning you, my brethren, by those of Chloe’s household, that there are contentions among you. 12 Now I say this, that each of you says, “I am of Paul,” or “I am of Apollos,” or “I am of Cephas,” or “I am of Christ.” 13 Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Or were you baptized in the name of Paul?
14 I thank God that I baptized none of you except Crispus and Gaius, 15 lest anyone should say that I had baptized in my own name. 16 Yes, I also baptized the household of Stephanas. Besides, I do not know whether I baptized any other. 17 For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel, not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of no effect.

Christ the Power and Wisdom of God

18 For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. 19 For it is written:

“ I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, And bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.”[a]

20 Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the disputer of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? 21 For since, in the wisdom of God, the world through wisdom did not know God, it pleased God through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe. 22 For Jews request a sign, and Greeks seek after wisdom; 23 but we preach Christ crucified, to the Jews a stumbling block and to the Greeks[b] foolishness, 24 but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. 25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

Glory Only in the Lord

26 For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called. 27 But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty; 28 and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are, 29 that no flesh should glory in His presence. 30 But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption— 31 that, as it is written, “He who glories, let him glory in the LORD.”[c]

Daniel 9:20-27:  The Seventy "Sevens"
20And whiles I was speaking, and praying, and confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel, and presenting my supplication before the LORD my God for the holy mountain of my God;
21Yea, whiles I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening oblation.
22And he informed me, and talked with me, and said, O Daniel, I am now come forth to give thee skill and understanding.
23At the beginning of thy supplications the commandment came forth, and I am come to shew thee; for thou art greatly beloved: therefore understand the matter, and consider the vision.
24Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.
25Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.
26And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.
27And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
