In the Memorial Parsha of Jesus Christ, we conclude with the 15th Chapter in the book of Deuteronomy, and go right into the sixteenth chapter in the book of Deuteronomy, which concludes the Memorial Parsha of Jesus Christ’s Re’eh. Next, is the Memorial Parsha of Jesus Christ’s of Shoftim which covers the sixteenth chapter through the twenty-first chapters in the book of Deuteronomy; and may be read on Saturday, August 14th, 2010. In addition to the reading in Deuteronomy 16 – 21, the Haphtarah of Isaiah 51 and 52 are also read for the week of Sunday, August 8th, 2010. Enjoy.

In chapter 15, of the book of Moses, in the book of Deuteronomy commands the seven year canceling of debts; because this is the time, this is the LORD’s time to proclaim a cancelled debt, and hen God shall bless you as he has promised. (Deuteronomy 15:1-11). Next Moses commands the release of a Hebrew servant in the seventh year. When you free your servants you shall supply him liberally from your flock, threshing floor and your winepress. (1st Chronicles 16:12-17). You shall give to the released servants as the LORD Thy God has blessed you. The LORD Thy God will bless you in everything that you do. (Deuteronomy 15:12-18). Lastly in this chapter (Deuteronomy 15), the first born animals are set apart by the command of Moses. Each year, as Moses has commanded, you shall eat with your family in the presence of the LORD Thy God in Jerusalem. (Acts 1:8). Most importantly is you shall eat the animal but not the blood of an animal. I know this sounds pretty elementary, but once I heard a group of non-Christians say, “Why can’t we eat the blood of an animal?” Then I said to myself, how stupid can you be, and then I remembered, oh I forgot this is not bible study, and we are dealing with a one sided conversation, where this group of people don’t listen very well.” (Ephesians 2:10). You will be able to do every good work that Christ, and the LORD Thy God shall bless you. (Deuteronomy 15:4,5,10)

In all that you do, always are ready to listen and also be ready to give a good answer. In this chapter we are talking about the release of God, and how to promote an opportunity to sanctify yourselves before God by being righteous and following his commandments, when you enter the good land that He is giving you as an inheritance. After all God really loves you and wants the absolute best for you. Nevertheless, remember to wait on God, not man. In this chapter the crux of waiting on God is because God delivered you out of the fiery furnace of man, in the land of Egypt, your house of bondage. Moses commands that you give to your servant because Give to him as the LORD your God has blessed you. 15 Remember that you were slaves in Egypt and the LORD your God redeemed you. Each prophet reminds you that you were once slaves in Egypt http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=deuteronomy%2015&version=NIV

What are the benefits of doing every good work that God has prepared for us to do, in this chapter the first benefit is: 1) For the LORD your God will bless you as he has promised, and you will lend to many nations but will borrow from none. 2) You will rule over many nations but none will rule over you (Deuteronomy 15:6). Most importantly is that you want to be blessed by the Best, and when you hearken unto the command of Moses, from the LORD Thy God then God will richly bless you. God will bless you in everything (all) that you do. Jesus taught that when you pray ask the Father in His name, and He will give it to you. Jesus said, “Ask and you shall receive, that your joy may be full.” (John 16:23-24). Does anyone care to prove Jesus wrong, because He said you will not be ashamed. You might think that you are going through something but trust and believe God wants the best for you, and you have to know that God is right for you and your circumstances could be a lot worst if you don’t trust in Him by just simply waiting.

In the last chapter of Re’eh the three festivals are reviewed, in Deuteronomy 16. Like the freeing of the one servant God asks you to remember that you were slaves in the land of Egypt. This is a good thing to remember, any miracles or signs that God used to bring you through. Even more, if you are like me an actual survivor of life in the ancient Egypt and your ancestors passed through the Red Sea, then this is very important to share your faith because as Jesus said you are the seed of Abraham but in no way are you His sheep, neither can you hear his voice. Repentance and Redemption are not widely taught a lot of these days so basically you have to guard your salvation, nothing goes with the power of God, not therapy not anything. Every prophet says, that you were brought out of Egypt, out of the house of bondage and delivered from the land of Egypt unto God, which can be found even beginning with the gospel as God promises to Abraham. (Deuteronomy 15:15 and Deuteronomy 16:12). Maybe you are not a descendant of the twelve tribes of Israel, but you should think about how God will deliver you and permanently redeem you unto Him, by first asking for forgiveness, by repenting through only the grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Therefore, three times a year all men must appear before the LORD Thy God in Jerusalem, the place of the LORD’s choosing. (Deuteronomy 16:6). You shall gather the produce of your threshing floor and your winepress (Deuteronomy 15:14; and Deuteronomy 16:13). You shall bring a gift in proportion to the way the LORD God blesses you. (Deuteronomy 15:14; Deuteronomy 16:17).

In this chapter Judges are appointed for every tribe throughout their jurisdictions that the LORD Thy God is giving you. You shall administer fair judgment to the people, in the towns that the LORD Thy God is giving you. You shall administer fair judgment to the people, as commanded by the hand of Moses. Moses said that this is an opportunity for the blind to lead the blind, and pervert justice and eventually the word of God. God wants you to sanctify His name.

The last commandment Moses gives is that you shall not worship the idol gods, of the nations. As commanded at the hand of Moses you shall tear down their idols and their staircase altars. In the ancient times before Jesus walk the earth, the idolaters would use many trees and make idols etc. Nevertheless, the church of god has one commission and that is to go out and make disciples and to take the bread and the wine and remember Jesus. Matthew 22:1-14: Wedding Feast
1And Jesus answered and spake unto them again by parables, and said,
2The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son,
3And sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come.
4Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come unto the marriage.
5But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his farm, another to his merchandise:
6And the remnant took his servants, and entreated them spitefully, and slew them.
7But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city.
8Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy.
9Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage.
10So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests.
11And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment:
12And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless.
13Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness, there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
14For many are called, but few are chosen. (Matthew 22:1-14, King James Version)

Hebrews 10:1-14: Christ is One sacrice for all
1 For the law, having a shadow of the good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with these same sacrifices, which they offer continually year by year, make those who approach perfect. 2 For then would they not have ceased to be offered? For the worshipers, once purified, would have had no more consciousness of sins. 3 But in those sacrifices there is a reminder of sins every year. 4 For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and goats could take away sins.
5 Therefore, when He came into the world, He said:
“ Sacrifice and offering You did not desire,
But a body You have prepared for Me.
6 In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin
      You had no pleasure.
7 Then I said, ‘Behold, I have come—
In the volume of the book it is written of Me—
To do Your will, O God.’”
8 Previously saying, “Sacrifice and offering, burnt offerings, and offerings for sin You did not desire, nor had pleasure in them (which are offered according to the law), 9 then He said, “Behold, I have come to do Your will, O God.” He takes away the first that He may establish the second. 10 By that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
11 And every priest stands ministering daily and offering repeatedly the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins. 12 But this Man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God, 13 from that time waiting till His enemies are made His footstool. 14 For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified.
(Hebrews 10:1-14, New King James Version)

Romans 13:1: Submit to government
Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God. (Romans 13:1, New King James Version)

John 7:1-9: Jesus' brothers disbelieve
1 After these things Jesus walked in Galilee; for He did not want to walk in Judea, because the Jews sought to kill Him. 2 Now the Jews’ Feast of Tabernacles was at hand. 3 His brothers therefore said to Him, “Depart from here and go into Judea, that Your disciples also may see the works that You are doing. 4 For no one does anything in secret while he himself seeks to be known openly. If You do these things, show Yourself to the world.” 5 For even His brothers did not believe in Him.
6 Then Jesus said to them, “My time has not yet come, but your time is always ready. 7 The world cannot hate you, but it hates Me because I testify of it that its works are evil. 8 You go up to this feast. I am not yet going up to this feast, for My time has not yet fully come.” 9 When He had said these things to them, He remained in Galilee. (John 7:1-9, New King James Version)

Matthew 26:6-13: The Poor; Jesus Anointed at Bethany
25 “Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? 26 Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? 27 Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?
28 “So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; 29 and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 30 Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?
31 “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble. (Matthew 6:25-34, New King James Version)

Matthew 26:17-20: The Lord’s Supper
17 Now on the first day of the Feast of the Unleavened Bread the disciples came to Jesus, saying to Him, “Where do You want us to prepare for You to eat the Passover?”
18 And He said, “Go into the city to a certain man, and say to him, ‘The Teacher says, “My time is at hand; I will keep the Passover at your house with My disciples.”’”
19 So the disciples did as Jesus had directed them; and they prepared the Passover.
20 When evening had come, He sat down with the twelve. (Matthew 26:17-20, New King James Version)

Mark 14:12-25: Jesus Celebrates the Passover with His Disciples
12 Now on the first day of Unleavened Bread, when they killed the Passover lamb, His disciples said to Him, “Where do You want us to go and prepare, that You may eat the Passover?”
13 And He sent out two of His disciples and said to them, “Go into the city, and a man will meet you carrying a pitcher of water; follow him. 14 Wherever he goes in, say to the master of the house, ‘The Teacher says, “Where is the guest room in which I may eat the Passover with My disciples?”’ 15 Then he will show you a large upper room, furnished and prepared; there make ready for us.”
16 So His disciples went out, and came into the city, and found it just as He had said to them; and they prepared the Passover.
17 In the evening He came with the twelve. 18 Now as they sat and ate, Jesus said, “Assuredly, I say to you, one of you who eats with Me will betray Me.”
19 And they began to be sorrowful, and to say to Him one by one, “Is it I?” And another said,Is it I?”
20 He answered and said to them, “It is one of the twelve, who dips with Me in the dish. 21 The Son of Man indeed goes just as it is written of Him, but woe to that man by whom the Son of Man is betrayed! It would have been good for that man if he had never been born.”
22 And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to them and said, “Take, eat; this is My body.”
23 Then He took the cup, and when He had given thanks He gave it to them, and they all drank from it. 24 And He said to them, “This is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many. 25 Assuredly, I say to you, I will no longer drink of the fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it new in the kingdom of God.”
(Mark 14:12-25, New King James Version)

Luke 22:7-18: Jesus and His Disciples Prepare the Passover
7 Then came the Day of Unleavened Bread, when the Passover must be killed. 8 And He sent Peter and John, saying, “Go and prepare the Passover for us, that we may eat.”
9 So they said to Him, “Where do You want us to prepare?”
10 And He said to them, “Behold, when you have entered the city, a man will meet you carrying a pitcher of water; follow him into the house which he enters. 11 Then you shall say to the master of the house, ‘The Teacher says to you, “Where is the guest room where I may eat the Passover with My disciples?”’ 12 Then he will show you a large, furnished upper room; there make ready.”
13 So they went and found it just as He had said to them, and they prepared the Passover.
14 When the hour had come, He sat down, and the twelve apostles with Him. 15 Then He said to them, “With fervent desire I have desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer; 16 for I say to you, I will no longer eat of it until it is fulfilled in the kingdom of God.”
17 Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, “Take this and divide it among yourselves; 18 for I say to you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God comes.”
(Luke 22:7-18, New King James Version)

John 10:19-42: Jesus the Good Shepherd; The Shepherd Knows His Sheep
19 Therefore there was a division again among the Jews because of these sayings. 20 And many of them said, “He has a demon and is mad. Why do you listen to Him?”
21 Others said, “These are not the words of one who has a demon. Can a demon open the eyes of the blind?”
22 Now it was the Feast of Dedication in Jerusalem, and it was winter. 23 And Jesus walked in the temple, in Solomon’s porch. 24 Then the Jews surrounded Him and said to Him, “How long do You keep us in doubt? If You are the Christ, tell us plainly.”
25 Jesus answered them, “I told you, and you do not believe. The works that I do in My Father’s name, they bear witness of Me. 26 But you do not believe, because you are not of My sheep, as I said to you. 27 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. 28 And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. 29 My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand. 30 I and My Father are one.”
31 Then the Jews took up stones again to stone Him. 32 Jesus answered them, “Many good works I have shown you from My Father. For which of those works do you stone Me?”
33 The Jews answered Him, saying, “For a good work we do not stone You, but for blasphemy, and because You, being a Man, make Yourself God.”
34 Jesus answered them, “Is it not written in your law, ‘I said, “You are gods”’? 35 If He called them gods, to whom the word of God came (and the Scripture cannot be broken), 36 do you say of Him whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world, ‘You are blaspheming,’ because I said, ‘I am the Son of God’? 37 If I do not do the works of My Father, do not believe Me; 38 but if I do, though you do not believe Me, believe the works, that you may know and believe that the Father is in Me, and I in Him.” 39 Therefore they sought again to seize Him, but He escaped out of their hand.
40 And He went away again beyond the Jordan to the place where John was baptizing at first, and there He stayed. 41 Then many came to Him and said, “John performed no sign, but all the things that John spoke about this Man were true.” 42 And many believed in Him there. (John 10:19-42, New King James Version)

John 7:10-31: Heavenly Scholar; Could He be the Christ?
10 But when His brothers had gone up, then He also went up to the feast, not openly, but as it were in secret. 11 Then the Jews sought Him at the feast, and said, “Where is He?” 12 And there was much complaining among the people concerning Him. Some said, “He is good”; others said, “No, on the contrary, He deceives the people.” 13 However, no one spoke openly of Him for fear of the Jews.
14 Now about the middle of the feast Jesus went up into the temple and taught. 15 And the Jews marveled, saying, “How does this Man know letters, having never studied?”
16 Jesus answered them and said, “My doctrine is not Mine, but His who sent Me. 17 If anyone wills to do His will, he shall know concerning the doctrine, whether it is from God or whether I speak on My own authority. 18 He who speaks from himself seeks his own glory; but He who seeks the glory of the One who sent Him is true, and no unrighteousness is in Him. 19 Did not Moses give you the law, yet none of you keeps the law? Why do you seek to kill Me?”
20 The people answered and said, “You have a demon. Who is seeking to kill You?”
21 Jesus answered and said to them, “I did one work, and you all marvel. 22 Moses therefore gave you circumcision (not that it is from Moses, but from the fathers), and you circumcise a man on the Sabbath. 23 If a man receives circumcision on the Sabbath, so that the law of Moses should not be broken, are you angry with Me because I made a man completely well on the Sabbath? 24 Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment.”
25 Now some of them from Jerusalem said, “Is this not He whom they seek to kill? 26 But look! He speaks boldly, and they say nothing to Him. Do the rulers know indeed that this is truly the Christ? 27 However, we know where this Man is from; but when the Christ comes, no one knows where He is from.”
28 Then Jesus cried out, as He taught in the temple, saying, “You both know Me, and you know where I am from; and I have not come of Myself, but He who sent Me is true, whom you do not know. 29 But I know Him, for I am from Him, and He sent Me.”
30 Therefore they sought to take Him; but no one laid a hand on Him, because His hour had not yet come. 31 And many of the people believed in Him, and said, “When the Christ comes, will He do more signs than these which this Man has done?” (John 7:10-31, New King James Version)

Matthew 5:44-48: Blessings of God that produce likeness to God; love your enemies
44 But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, 45 that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. 46 For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? 47 And if you greet your brethren only, what do you do more than others? Do not even the tax collectors do so? 48 Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect. (Matthew 5:44-48, New King James Version)

John 14:1-3: The Way, the Truth, and the Life leads to an eternal home
1 “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. 2 In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. (John 14:1-3, New King James Version)

1st John 3:1-13: Leads to holiness
1 Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. 2 Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. 3 And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.
4 Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness. 5 And you know that He was manifested to take away our sins, and in Him there is no sin. 6 Whoever abides in Him does not sin. Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him.
7 Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous. 8 He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. 9 Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God.
10 In this the children of God and the children of the devil are manifest: Whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is he who does not love his brother. 11 For this is the message that you heard from the beginning, that we should love one another, 12 not as Cain who was of the wicked one and murdered his brother. And why did he murder him? Because his works were evil and his brother’s righteous.
13 Do not marvel, my brethren, if the world hates you. (1 John 3:1-13, New King James Version)

Numbers 6:27: Confers a new name
27 “So they shall put My name on the children of Israel, and I will bless them.” (Numbers 6:27, New King James Version)

Matthew 6:25-34: Becomes joint heir
