Leviticus 6 through Leviticus 8, Sabbath March 27th, 2010
1And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
2If a soul sin, and commit a trespass against the LORD, and lie unto his neighbour in that which was delivered him to keep, or in fellowship, or in a thing taken away by violence, or hath deceived his neighbour;
3Or have found that which was lost, and lieth concerning it, and sweareth falsely; in any of all these that a man doeth, sinning therein:
4Then it shall be, because he hath sinned, and is guilty, that he shall restore that which he took violently away, or the thing which he hath deceitfully gotten, or that which was delivered him to keep, or the lost thing which he found,
5Or all that about which he hath sworn falsely; he shall even restore it in the principal, and shall add the fifth part more thereto, and give it unto him to whom it appertaineth, in the day of his trespass offering.
6And he shall bring his trespass offering unto the LORD, a ram without blemish out of the flock, with thy estimation, for a trespass offering, unto the priest:
7And the priest shall make an atonement for him before the LORD: and it shall be forgiven him for any thing of all that he hath done in trespassing therein.
8And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
9Command Aaron and his sons, saying, This is the law of the burnt offering: It is the burnt offering, because of the burning upon the altar all night unto the morning, and the fire of the altar shall be burning in it.
10And the priest shall put on his linen garment, and his linen breeches shall he put upon his flesh, and take up the ashes which the fire hath consumed with the burnt offering on the altar, and he shall put them beside the altar.
11And he shall put off his garments, and put on other garments, and carry forth the ashes without the camp unto a clean place.
12And the fire upon the altar shall be burning in it; it shall not be put out: and the priest shall burn wood on it every morning, and lay the burnt offering in order upon it; and he shall burn thereon the fat of the peace offerings.
13The fire shall ever be burning upon the altar; it shall never go out.
14And this is the law of the meat offering: the sons of Aaron shall offer it before the LORD, before the altar.
15And he shall take of it his handful, of the flour of the meat offering, and of the oil thereof, and all the frankincense which is upon the meat offering, and shall burn it upon the altar for a sweet savour, even the memorial of it, unto the LORD.
16And the remainder thereof shall Aaron and his sons eat: with unleavened bread shall it be eaten in the holy place; in the court of the tabernacle of the congregation they shall eat it.
17It shall not be baken with leaven. I have given it unto them for their portion of my offerings made by fire; it is most holy, as is the sin offering, and as the trespass offering.
18All the males among the children of Aaron shall eat of it. It shall be a statute for ever in your generations concerning the offerings of the LORD made by fire: every one that toucheth them shall be holy.
19And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
20This is the offering of Aaron and of his sons, which they shall offer unto the LORD in the day when he is anointed; the tenth part of an ephah of fine flour for a meat offering perpetual, half of it in the morning, and half thereof at night.
21In a pan it shall be made with oil; and when it is baken, thou shalt bring it in: and the baken pieces of the meat offering shalt thou offer for a sweet savour unto the LORD.
22And the priest of his sons that is anointed in his stead shall offer it: it is a statute for ever unto the LORD; it shall be wholly burnt.
23For every meat offering for the priest shall be wholly burnt: it shall not be eaten.
24And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
25Speak unto Aaron and to his sons, saying, This is the law of the sin offering: In the place where the burnt offering is killed shall the sin offering be killed before the LORD: it is most holy.
26The priest that offereth it for sin shall eat it: in the holy place shall it be eaten, in the court of the tabernacle of the congregation.
27Whatsoever shall touch the flesh thereof shall be holy: and when there is sprinkled of the blood thereof upon any garment, thou shalt wash that whereon it was sprinkled in the holy place.
28But the earthen vessel wherein it is sodden shall be broken: and if it be sodden in a brasen pot, it shall be both scoured, and rinsed in water.
29All the males among the priests shall eat thereof: it is most holy.
30And no sin offering, whereof any of the blood is brought into the tabernacle of the congregation to reconcile withal in the holy place, shall be eaten: it shall be burnt in the fire. (Leviticus 6, King James Version)
Matthew 9:11-13 - 11And when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto his disciples, Why eateth your Master with publicans and sinners?

18But he that had received one went and digged in the earth, and hid his lord's money.
19After a long time the lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them.
20And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more.
21His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

Matthew 25:1-13 - The Parable of the Ten Wise and Foolish Virgins
1Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.
2And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.
3They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:
4But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.

11Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.
12But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.
13Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

The Law of the Burnt Offering: Leviticus 6:8-13
About a year after the Israelites Exodus from Egypt, the house of bondage, the High Priest, is ordained and his name is Aaron. God commandes Moses to appoint Aaron from the day that he is anointed to offer before the LORD. This event was a remarkable change because the state religion 3500 years in Egypt was the god called, Aton. Therefore, everyone that was a subject of Egypt was required to worship before the stone god. Now the Israelites could worship God and offer their sacrifice before the LORD, their God.
A continual burnt offering shall be offered before the LORD, the fire shall always burn, and the fire of the burnt offering at the altar of the burnt offeirng shall never go out; the fat of the peace offering shall be placed on top of the word every morning. (See also the Law of Meat offering, Leviticus 6:14-18; and Aaron and Sons at Leviticus 6:19-23; and the Sin Offering Leviticus 6:25).
Moreover, the Priest shall wear the priestly garments to take up the ashes, he shall put the ashes besisde the altar. Then the command to prepare a grain offering is explained as a portion that is brought by the congregation with salt as a covenant with the grain offering that is holy (Luke 14:34; Matthew 5:13; and Mark 9:49-50; and Luke 6:18). The grain offering is a permanent statute to the Sons of Aaron.
Lastly, Moses is commanded and speaks the word of God unto Aaron (and his sons) saying, "This is the law of the sin offering." The law of the sin offering is like the burnt offering, in that the Priest that offers it shall eat it in a most holy place, the tabernacle (The temple) in Jerusalem. Both the grain and the sin offering shall be offered at the beginning of the anointing as the ordained High Priest of the Israelites. However, the grain offering is different, in that it is offered daily; but the Sin offering is sprinkled to make atonement, of the sin offering and trespass offerings etc.
In closing, Jesus professional ministry of atonement, not only meant that all that came to Him would not be turned away, but you received a blessing in the form of healing or cleansing, sometimes both. Many times you see Christians or Gentiles claiming that they can heal you. I have sat in church countless times watching the entire gamut of healing going on... Jesus is very clear in saying that "we should Heal them. (Matthew 13:15)" Jesus also resurrected the dead by teaching in flesh the word that He fulfilled. Jesus preached the Kingdom of God is at hand, and the taught about the throne of God to the poor, that were too rejected by society to gleam. The healing of all manner of sickness and all manner of diesease (sick, blind, lame and the deaf). Jesus cleansed demonic spirits that He called unclean spirits (casting out devils) and cast them out; Jesus also cleansed the lepers etc. For these reasons alone, Jesus who I will know as another name and await patiently for the Holy and Anointed One to return to the earth by the power of the Holy Ghost, will always be my High Priest. Jesus did not sacrifice a lamb or the life of a small child to accomplish any of the miraculous signs he performed for the will of God. Jesus is Lord all by Himself, he called the Apostles friend because they knew what He could do, and would do with His hidden talent.
As Jesus taught, as long as the bridegroom is physically with you on earth, then you don't need scrips or staves. Yet there are many religious factions that believe that Jesus did not walk the earth in the flesh, or when he appeared after the crucifixion that it was a spiritual appearance, many of these phenomenon's can be answered when the Messiah appears, many will think it is the first time the Holy One, the divine Anointing - the Anointed One had appeared on the earth. What do I think? I can't tell you what I think or how I came to that conclusion, He has to give you more as you want more. I know that the resurrection will change the way we see and know our life, eternally.
