The book of Leviticus: Chapters One through Five



Leviticus Two: The Grain Offering

The grain offering is brought to Aaron and his sons; fire flour, oil, incense is burned on the altar. A grain offering is burned as a memorial (token) portion and made by fire, with an aroma please to the LORD.


The grain offering may also be brought baked, sautéed in a pan, prepared on a griddle to the LORD.


The grain offering is made without yeast, or honey. However yeast and Honey shall not be used in a burnt offering, for a sweet aroma to the LORD. Every grain offering shall be seasoned with the salt of the covenant.


The first fruit of the grain offering to the LORD shall be the first green ears of dried corn by the fire, with oil and then frankincense (incense) shall be placed on top of the burnt grain offering.


Like the cooked grain offerings, the burnt corn shall be brought to the Priest, and shall be burnt as the memorial portion of the crushed grain and the oil and the incense, as an offering made to the LORD by fire.


Have you ever looked at food and just knew right away that the ingredients were off. I always say if it doesn’t smell right and it doesn’t look right, then there is a problem.


Apostle John the Baptist spoke of a threshing floor that would separate the wheat (righteous) from the chaff (wicked), unto judgment day. As we see today the Herod’s and Esau’s’ of this world have tried to replace and or impede the gospel, which has always been and always will be God’s chosen people.


However, the facts are on the ground. The restoration of Israel is underway, thanks to all who read this discuss and or blog.

Leviticus Two:

 ¹And when any will offer a meat offering unto the LORD, his offering shall be of fine flour; and he shall pour oil upon it, and put frankncense thereon:
 ²And he shall bring it to Aaron's sons the priests: and he shall take thereout his handful of the flour thereof, and of the oil thereof, with all the frankincense thereof; and the priest shall burn the memorial of it upon the altar, to be an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD:
 ³And the remnant of the meat offering shall be Aaron's and his sons': it is a thing most holy of the offerings of the LORD made by fire.
 ⁴And if thou bring an oblation of a meat offering baken in the oven, it shall be unleavened cakes of fine flour mingled with oil, or unleavened wafers anointed with oil.
 ⁵And if thy oblation be a meat offering baken in a pan, it shall be of fine flour unleavened, mingled with oil.

 ⁶Thou shalt part it in pieces, and pour oil thereon: it is a meat offering.

 ⁷And if thy oblation be a meat offering baken in the fryingpan, it shall be made of fine flour with oil.

 ⁸And thou shalt bring the meat offering that is made of these things unto the LORD: and when it is presented unto the priest, he shall bring it unto the altar.

 ⁹And the priest shall take from the meat offering a memorial thereof, and shall burn it upon the altar: it is an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.

 ¹⁰And that which is left of the meat offering shall be Aaron's and his sons': it is a thing most holy of the offerings of the LORD made by fire.

 ¹¹No meat offering, which ye shall bring unto the LORD, shall be made with leaven: for ye shall burn no leaven, nor any honey, in any offering of the LORD made by fire.

 ¹²As for the oblation of the firstfruits, ye shall offer them unto the LORD: but they shall not be burnt on the altar for a sweet savour.

 ¹³And every oblation of thy meat offering shalt thou season with salt; neither shalt thou suffer the salt of the covenant of thy God to be lacking from thy meat offering: with all thine offerings thou shalt offer salt.

 ¹⁴And if thou offer a meat offering of thy firstfruits unto the LORD, thou shalt offer for the meat offering of thy firstfruits green ears of corn dried by the fire, even corn beaten out of full ears.

 ¹⁵And thou shalt put oil upon it, and lay frankincense thereon: it is a meat offering.

 ¹⁶And the priest shall burn the memorial of it, part of the beaten corn thereof, and part of the oil thereof, with all the frankincense thereof: it is an offering made by fire unto the LORD. (Leviticus 2, King James Version)

During the times of the Holy Temple, at the end of counting a special grain offering was brought. This offering was waved in different directions, similar to how the lulav is waved during the holiday of Sukkot, to demonstrate G-d Almighty's all-encompassing presence.
