Numbers 3
1These also are the generations of Aaron and Moses in the day that the LORD spake with Moses in mount Sinai.
2And these are the names of the sons of Aaron; Nadab the firstborn, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
3These are the names of the sons of Aaron, the priests which were anointed, whom he consecrated to minister in the priest's office.
4And Nadab and Abihu died before the LORD, when they offered strange fire before the LORD, in the wilderness of Sinai, and they had no children: and Eleazar and Ithamar ministered in the priest's office in the sight of Aaron their father.
5And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
6Bring the tribe of Levi near, and present them before Aaron the priest, that they may minister unto him.
7And they shall keep his charge, and the charge of the whole congregation before the tabernacle of the congregation, to do the service of the tabernacle.
8And they shall keep all the instruments of the tabernacle of the congregation, and the charge of the children of Israel, to do the service of the tabernacle.
9And thou shalt give the Levites unto Aaron and to his sons: they are wholly given unto him out of the children of Israel.
10And thou shalt appoint Aaron and his sons, and they shall wait on their priest's office: and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death.
11And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
 12And I, behold, I have taken the Levites from among the children of Israel instead of all the firstborn that openeth the matrix among the children of Israel: therefore the Levites shall be mine;
13Because all the firstborn are mine; for on the day that I smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt I hallowed unto me all the firstborn in Israel, both man and beast: mine shall they be: I am the LORD.
14And the LORD spake unto Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, saying,
15Number the children of Levi after the house of their fathers, by their families: every male from a month old and upward shalt thou number them.
16And Moses numbered them according to the word of the LORD, as he was commanded.
17And these were the sons of Levi by their names; Gershon, and Kohath, and Merari.
18And these are the names of the sons of Gershon by their families; Libni, and Shimei.
19And the sons of Kohath by their families; Amram, and Izehar, Hebron, and Uzziel.
20And the sons of Merari by their families; Mahli, and Mushi. These are the families of the Levites according to the house of their fathers.
21Of Gershon was the family of the Libnites, and the family of the Shimites: these are the families of the Gershonites.
22Those that were numbered of them, according to the number of all the males, from a month old and upward, even those that were numbered of them were seven thousand and five hundred.
23The families of the Gershonites shall pitch behind the tabernacle westward.
24And the chief of the house of the father of the Gershonites shall be Eliasaph the son of Lael.
25And the charge of the sons of Gershon in the tabernacle of the congregation shall be the tabernacle, and the tent, the covering thereof, and the hanging for the door of the tabernacle of the congregation,
26And the hangings of the court, and the curtain for the door of the court, which is by the tabernacle, and by the altar round about, and the cords of it for all the service thereof.
27And of Kohath was the family of the Amramites, and the family of the Izeharites, and the family of the Hebronites, and the family of the Uzzielites: these are the families of the Kohathites.
28In the number of all the males, from a month old and upward, were eight thousand and six hundred, keeping the charge of the sanctuary.
29The families of the sons of Kohath shall pitch on the side of the tabernacle southward.
30And the chief of the house of the father of the families of the Kohathites shall be Elizaphan the son of Uzziel.
31And their charge shall be the ark, and the table, and the candlestick, and the altars, and the vessels of the sanctuary wherewith they minister, and the hanging, and all the service thereof.
32And Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest shall be chief over the chief of the Levites, and have the oversight of them that keep the charge of the sanctuary.
33Of Merari was the family of the Mahlites, and the family of the Mushites: these are the families of Merari.
34And those that were numbered of them, according to the number of all the males, from a month old and upward, were six thousand and two hundred.
35And the chief of the house of the father of the families of Merari was Zuriel the son of Abihail: these shall pitch on the side of the tabernacle northward.
36And under the custody and charge of the sons of Merari shall be the boards of the tabernacle, and the bars thereof, and the pillars thereof, and the sockets thereof, and all the vessels thereof, and all that serveth thereto,
37And the pillars of the court round about, and their sockets, and their pins, and their cords.
38But those that encamp before the tabernacle toward the east, even before the tabernacle of the congregation eastward, shall be Moses, and Aaron and his sons, keeping the charge of the sanctuary for the charge of the children of Israel; and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death.
39All that were numbered of the Levites, which Moses and Aaron numbered at the commandment of the LORD, throughout their families, all the males from a month old and upward, were twenty and two thousand.
40And the LORD said unto Moses, Number all the firstborn of the males of the children of Israel from a month old and upward, and take the number of their names.
41And thou shalt take the Levites for me (I am the LORD) instead of all the firstborn among the children of Israel; and the cattle of the Levites instead of all the firstlings among the cattle of the children of Israel.
42And Moses numbered, as the LORD commanded him, all the firstborn among the children of Israel.
43And all the firstborn males by the number of names, from a month old and upward, of those that were numbered of them, were twenty and two thousand two hundred and threescore and thirteen.
44And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
45Take the Levites instead of all the firstborn among the children of Israel, and the cattle of the Levites instead of their cattle; and the Levites shall be mine: I am the LORD.
 46And for those that are to be redeemed of the two hundred and threescore and thirteen of the firstborn of the children of Israel, which are more than the Levites;
47Thou shalt even take five shekels apiece by the poll, after the shekel of the sanctuary shalt thou take them: (the shekel is twenty gerahs:)
48And thou shalt give the money, wherewith the odd number of them is to be redeemed, unto Aaron and to his sons.
49And Moses took the redemption money of them that were over and above them that were redeemed by the Levites:
50Of the firstborn of the children of Israel took he the money; a thousand three hundred and threescore and five shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary:
51And Moses gave the money of them that were redeemed unto Aaron and to his sons, according to the word of the LORD, as the LORD commanded Moses.

Numbers 4

King James Version (KJV)

Numbers 4:1 through 4:20

1And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,
2Take the sum of the sons of Kohath from among the sons of Levi, after their families, by the house of their fathers,
3From thirty years old and upward even until fifty years old, all that enter into the host, to do the work in the tabernacle of the congregation.
4This shall be the service of the sons of Kohath in the tabernacle of the congregation, about the most holy things:
5And when the camp setteth forward, Aaron shall come, and his sons, and they shall take down the covering vail (veil), and cover the ark of testimony with it:
6And shall put thereon the covering of badgers' skins, and shall spread over it a cloth wholly of blue, and shall put in the staves thereof.
7And upon the table of shewbread they shall spread a cloth of blue, and put thereon the dishes, and the spoons, and the bowls, and covers to cover withal: and the continual bread shall be thereon:
8And they shall spread upon them a cloth of scarlet, and cover the same with a covering of badgers' skins, and shall put in the staves thereof.
9And they shall take a cloth of blue, and cover the candlestick of the light, and his lamps, and his tongs, and his snuffdishes, and all the oil vessels thereof, wherewith they minister unto it:
10And they shall put it and all the vessels thereof within a covering of badgers' skins, and shall put it upon a bar.
11And upon the golden altar they shall spread a cloth of blue, and cover it with a covering of badgers' skins, and shall put to the staves thereof:
12And they shall take all the instruments of ministry, wherewith they minister in the sanctuary, and put them in a cloth of blue, and cover them with a covering of badgers' skins, and shall put them on a bar:
13And they shall take away the ashes from the altar, and spread a purple cloth thereon:
14And they shall put upon it all the vessels thereof, wherewith they minister about it, even the censers, the fleshhooks, and the shovels, and the basons, all the vessels of the altar; and they shall spread upon it a covering of badgers' skins, and put to the staves of it.
15And when Aaron and his sons have made an end of covering the sanctuary, and all the vessels of the sanctuary, as the camp is to set forward; after that, the sons of Kohath shall come to bear it: but they shall not touch any holy thing, lest they die. These things are the burden of the sons of Kohath in the tabernacle of the congregation.
16And to the office of Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest pertaineth the oil for the light, and the sweet incense, and the daily meat offering, and the anointing oil, and the oversight of all the tabernacle, and of all that therein is, in the sanctuary, and in the vessels thereof.
17And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron saying,
18Cut ye not off the tribe of the families of the Kohathites from among the Levites:
19But thus do unto them, that they may live, and not die, when they approach unto the most holy things: Aaron and his sons shall go in, and appoint them every one to his service and to his burden:
20But they shall not go in to see when the holy things are covered, lest they die.

Jesus Christ's Memorial Parsha of Mattot-Masei: Numbers 33

Revelations 14:12 - Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

Welcome to another Memorial Parsha of Jesus Christ. The Memorial Parsha Mattot-Masei is coming to on Saturday, July 10th, 2010, from the book of Numbers 30 through the book of Numbers 36. The Haftorah is Matot Jeremiah 1:1-9 and Jeremiah 2:1-3. The Hatforah for Massei is Jeremiah 2:4-28 and Jeremiah 4:1-2.

COMMENTARY:

Like many (mixed) religions, the Memorial Parsha Pinchas predicates the second coming of Jesus. In the Messianic era the descendants of the twelve tribes that were brought out of Egypt, out of the house of bondage will be leading Evangelist, the 144,000. (Revelations 14:1-5).  Although many Jewish people represent a broad spectrum of people throughout the world, of nationalities, tongues, kindred and people. However, the sealed and remaining remnant are the descendants from the Exodus of Egypt, several thousand years later, their descendants will believe in Jesus and will be sealed in his second coming, he is the Shepherd of Israel. Jesus is the Messiah; otherwise your house is desolate. In our last study, the Memorial Pinchas observed the feasts of the LORD, with the sacrificial offerings representing the early church (Ephesians 3:9).  However, in the Memorial Parsha of Pinchas the distinction is expounded upon for the peace offerings; the fellowship offerings; the burnt offerings; the sin offerings and the grain offerings.

Jesus is the first begotten son of God, the first fruit of all things of life, you don't have to worry about worshipping the image of the beast. (Revelations 14:7). Jesus is not a beast, he never mislead anyone and you to are a first fruit of God and unto the Lamb Jesus, the son of God. Jesus is the first of the sons of God. If you have patience, then you have a Messiah, like it or not. You will meet the Messiah, and for many of you who rejected him, well, he too will reject you. Ephesians 3:10 - His intent was that now, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms, The word of God also says, John 1:16 - From the fullness of his grace we have all received one blessing after another.

Jesus taught that there are stations in my life. At Station 14, Jesus was laid in a tomb and it was sealed only to be removed and he would be proclaimed the risen saviour of the whole wide world. A great victory for Christians and heaven bound believers alike, redemption for the Gentiles. In the Memorial Parsha Mattot-Masei there were many stations in the encampment of the children of Israel while passing through from wilderness to the other: Wilderness Etham; Elim; Sin; Zin (Exodus 16:1); Shur (Exodus 15:22); Paran (Exodus 12:16; Exodus 32:8) and Sinai (Hazaeroth; Numbers 11:25; Numbers 12:16) etc. There are so many more locations that the children of Israel camped throughout the Torah, the Old Testament of the Bible. I sit back and I listened to people talk about their law, but they don't talk about the anointing, the Power of God's Spirit to bring the remnant through. Yes, it might be your time, and you may have just converted into this religion but don't distort the truth and say that the all of the locations that the children of Israel encamped are not aforementioned in the Torah, or were not mentioned in the Torah. As the word of God clearly states, Numbers 33:2, these are the journeys of the children of Israel, which went forth out of the land of Egypt with their armies under the hand of Moses and Aaron. Numbers 33:3, And Moses wrote their goings out according to their journeys by the commandment of the LORD: and these are their journeys according to their goings out.

There are many descendants of the children of Israel who actually made the trip and want to be recognized for preservation; the different stations in their life. Had Jesus not prevailed through the seed of David, in the encampment of each of location in Numbers 33, then I don't know where I would be today.

Hold Me. Like The River Jordan. And I Will Then Say To Thee. You Are My Friend

Carry Me. Like You Are My Brother. Love Me Like A Mother. Will You Be There? http://www.lyricsfreak.com/m/michael+jackson/#share

The two most popular stations began for the early when the armies of Israel had traveled by setting out from Ramses, and was delivered from the house of Bondage, in Egypt is sensationalized by the first day after of the Passover. (Exodus 33:3; Exodus 12:37). The next popular encampment is at Mt. Hor when Aaron was commanded of the LORD to die there. Throughout the chapter of Numbers twenty, Miriam dies at the wilderness Zin. (Numbers 20:1).  After the water is gone the people rebelled at the waters of Meribah; causing contention in leadership and ultimately with God. (Numbers 20:24).

Anyone who did not participate in the Passover was left behind in Egypt. I believe that day God picked each Israelite gently and carried the children of Israel on eagles wings over the Sea of Reeds (Exodus 14:2,9,22; Exodus 15:22-23; Acts 7:38). The children of Israel left Ramses and pitched int he Wilderness, near Ethan and carried with them the bones of Joseph. In addition, the Wilderness experience is remembered at each Station because the first Passover was observed. Jesus observed the LORD's Passover because the LORD's Passover is the LORD's Law, that may be in your mouth, saying "God brought me out of Egypt." (Numbers 15:39; Deuteronomy 6:8; Exodus 13:9; Numbers 9:9; and Joshua 1:6-7). Nevertheless, the Apostle Paul said the church of God is neither Jew, nor Gentile. The worship and the church of God are the propriety of God, the church of God belongs to God. Jesus is the head of the Church, he died for the Church, you and me - the Church. Apostle Paul again teaches about the Passover to the Gentiles, and passes the Lord's Last Passover. (1st Corinthian 11:23-26).

In Mount Hor, the LORD God commands Aaron to die. Aaron the servant of the Most High God, the God of Israel dies in Mount Hor, after serving the LORD God for forty years, which is after the children of Israel came out of the land of Egypt, on the first day of the first month in 1452 B.C.  Aaron, is the first High Priest, and was a hundred twenty-three years old when he died in Mount Hor.  Aaron like Moses, shall not enter into the land which is given unto the children of Israel, because he rebelled at the waters of Meribah; the children of Israel tempted the LORD God; and the children of Israel provoked the LORD God, Moses and Aaron - His servants.  The charge against Aaron (and Moses) is that he did not sanctify the name of the LORD God. (Numbers 20:24). It is customary to mourn the or thirty days. Nevertheless, the children of Israel provoked the wrath of God. It is very important especially in our walk with God, during our lowest valley experiences and wilderness experiences to be strong and vigilant and don't let anyone cause us to sin and error in God's way. Nevertheless, Moses struck the rock with his rod in Horeb, and water sprang from the rock - this is the same rod he carried in Egypt that split the Red Sea - again in the sight of the elders of Israel. The people drank from the rock, which is a landmark to this day. (Exodus 17:7; Psalm 78:20).

Lastly, in the Memorial Parsha of Mattot-Masei, Moses is commanded to go to Mount Abarim (Numbers 33:47; Numbers 21:11; 27:12; and Deuteronomy 32:49). In chapter 33 in the book of Numbers, a very well known geographical location is given notoriety because the fulfillment of the Abrahamaic Covenant could not be fulfilled until after the first Passover.  Here Jesus, is bearing reference to what the Apostle Paul is saying that the anointing belongs to God - proclaiming the Lord's (Lord Jesus') death until he comes. Likewise, Jesus taught that the fulfilment of the Passover is the kingdom of God (Luke 22:16). Therefore, Jesus said to the Jewish disciples, as often as you do this, do it in remembrance to me (Jesus).

To conclude, the children of Israel camped in the plains of Moab, which is near the Jereicho River. Although sanctification through purificaiton of sprinkling of water, the cleaning with water or immersing. John the Baptist baptized in the Jordan River, which is where the children of Israel (Reuben, Dan and the half tribe of Manassah) received their inherited land. The Jordan River is very low, sea level and salty water. (Revelations 14:20). Today, people are still being baptized at the Jordan River, after confessing their faith in Jesus Christ; and confessing their sins. (Matthew 3:6).  Throughout the bible, there are many stations full of encouragement, inspired by the children of Israels forty year journey in through the wilderness. Jesus speaks of the Passover fulfilled appropriately he is not talking about Jihads', Right Wing Extremist, Mohajedin's. Jesus wants disciples, martyrs, believers on Him and the Saints.

Revelation 9:13-21 - Now when the sixth trumpet sounds, the four angels at Euphrates River are released. The four angels are released at a precise time, on a given day. The four angels are released a plague to kill a third of mankind. Today there are 8 billion people, and over 2 ½ billion Christians that follow Jesus. So the number of people would double due to HIV/AIDS (Rev. 9:15). However, the mankind that sit on the 200 million man, and that are not killed by plague; the fire, the smoke and the brimstone and did not repent of their sexual immorality. In this manner, there were people who still believed that there Jesus was not the Messiah.

During the Feast of Tabernacles, in Sukkah 55b, the sacrificial offerings represent 70 nations for each of the 70 bullocks offered during the festival. The seventy nations represent the 70 nations that inhabit the earth. At the end of time there will be

DISCIPLES REFERENCES:

1 Corinthians 11:23-34 - 23)For I received from the Lord what I also passed on to you: The Lord Jesus, on the night he was betrayed, took bread, (24)and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, "This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me." (25)In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me." 26For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until he comes.
(27) Therefore, whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of sinning against the body and blood of the Lord. (28)A man ought to examine himself before he eats of the bread and drinks of the cup. (29) For anyone who eats and drinks without recognizing the body of the Lord eats and drinks judgment on himself. 30That is why many among you are weak and sick, and a number of you have fallen asleep. (31) But if we judged ourselves, we would not come under judgment. (32) When we are judged by the Lord, we are being disciplined so that we will not be condemned with the world. (33) So then, my brothers, when you come together to eat, wait for each other. (34) If anyone is hungry, he should eat at home, so that when you meet together it may not result in judgment. And when I come I will give further directions.

Luke 22:7-31 - [Conversion of the Apostle Peter]
7Then came the day of unleavened bread, when the passover must be killed.
8And he sent Peter and John, saying, Go and prepare us the passover, that we may eat.
9And they said unto him, Where wilt thou that we prepare?
10And he said unto them, Behold, when ye are entered into the city, there shall a man meet you, bearing a pitcher of water; follow him into the house where he entereth in.
11And ye shall say unto the goodman of the house, The Master saith unto thee, Where is the guestchamber, where I shall eat the passover with my disciples?
12And he shall shew you a large upper room furnished: there make ready.
13And they went, and found as he had said unto them: and they made ready the passover.
14And when the hour was come, he sat down, and the twelve apostles with him.
15And he said unto them, With desire I have desired to eat this passover with you before I suffer:
16For I say unto you, I will not any more eat thereof, until it be fulfilled in the kingdom of God.
17And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, Take this, and divide it among yourselves:
18For I say unto you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God shall come.
19And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.
20Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.
21But, behold, the hand of him that betrayeth me is with me on the table.
22And truly the Son of man goeth, as it was determined: but woe unto that man by whom he is betrayed!
23And they began to enquire among themselves, which of them it was that should do this thing.
24And there was also a strife among them, which of them should be accounted the greatest.
25And he said unto them, The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and they that exercise authority upon them are called benefactors.
26But ye shall not be so: but he that is greatest among you, let him be as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that doth serve.
27For whether is greater, he that sitteth at meat, or he that serveth? is not he that sitteth at meat? but I am among you as he that serveth.
28Ye are they which have continued with me in my temptations.
 29And I appoint unto you a kingdom, as my Father hath appointed unto me;
30That ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
31And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: (Luke 22:7-31, King James Version)

Matthew 3:1-21In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judaea,
2And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. (Matthew 3:1-2, King James Version)

1 Timothy 3:1-7 -
1This is a true saying, if a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work.
 2A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach;
 3Not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous;
 4One that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity;
5(For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?)
6Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil.
7Moreover he must have a good report of them which are without; lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil. (1 Timothy 3:1-7, King James Version)

John 6:27 - Jesus said, "Do not work for food that spoils, but for food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. On him God the Father has placed his seal of approval."

Romans 4:11 - And he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness that he had by faith while he was still uncircumcised. So then, he is the father of all who believe but have not been circumcised, in order that righteousness might be credited to them.

Ephesians 4:30 - And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.

2 Timothy 2:19 - Nevertheless, God's solid foundation stands firm, sealed with this inscription: "The Lord knows those who are his," and, "Everyone who confesses the name of the Lord must turn away from wickedness."

2 Corinthians 1:22 - set his seal of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come.

Corinthians 9:2 - Even though I may not be an apostle to others, surely I am to you! For you are the seal of my apostleship in the Lord.
