Sabbath, January 6, 2017/ Torah: Genesis 47:28 through Genesis 50:26. Haftarah: 1 Kings 2:1-12. The Gospel: John 13:1-19

He lived — ויחי

Last week, we talked about the facilitator that does the unthinkable. They don't have the help that they need to offer services - on the hours listed on paraphernalia.  People have to remember the cross; and that with that cross is your assignment, where as you are assigned. Unless you really want something from this fake steward, then you are going to have to go around a giant to get it, or resign to the fact that due to circumstances you are neither called; assigned; or chosen to see this task executed. Remember, the Church is not a movement, subtle actions can discourage others and cause some to stray or choose the unbeaten path, as a saint you must always walk and strive with God. With that being said, "you should spend all your time in this manner: God first; family and then professional entrepreneurship (and work last), but in that order. " Yes, I can walk the talk. We are all sin, but my righteousness is that of Christ Jesus. I live a righteous life, and I love harder than anyone that I know. I lived subsistence, on public assistant, for many years, while my 23 year old and 15 year old - were small and I dealt with my health.

There are so many false prophets and wolves, that want to do nothing more than take over your church. To have access doesn't mean that you need to remove or replace the Shepherd of the Flock. When you tell the truth, you won't have a problem safely opening the doors and packing the pews. In doing this you can find a mate, but this person should be whom God should have you with a person who supports and illustrates the Kingdom of God, not limited to healing.... as oppose to an abomination. Desiring a mate that becomes your idol, or you give him your time (life); is not going to magically get you into the Kingdom of heaven by finding out which of your Egyptian ancestors is from an Israelite tribe. You have to enter the Kingdom of heaven like a little child, we all grow and you deserve the right to get to know the people that are in your life. You have to get to know your mate, at the same time this mate can not be an idea... you must be doer and hearer  (James 1:22). You must be a giver (salt, Mark 9:49) and a receiver (anointing). Luke 6:38: Proverbs 11:24-25; and Hebrews 11:13. Remember, you gotta work but your time is your life.

I have known people who pick and choose side, despising the Kingdom of God to the point that they do not want me to lay hands on the areas of their lives in which they need healing (Matthew 19:14). And Jesus said, 11 I say to you that many will come from the east and the west to share the banquet with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven. 12 But the sons of the kingdom will be cast into the outer darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” 13 Then Jesus said to the centurion, “Go! As you have believed, so will it be done for you.” And his servant was healed at that very hour.…

I have said it once, you can live in a life of abomination... but would you rather see a person suffer than to be healed (Matthew 12:28)? Nevertheless, people have seen me have sickness and disability - and I didn't hold onto it.... I testified about the goodness and glory of God. People will try to limit your service and your testimony which shall testaments to the glory of God.

Parsha Vayechi in a Nutshell:

Jacob lives in Egypt for 17 years, after reuniting with Joseph. He blesses Joseph and anoints his sons with a double blessing; the grandfather has bonus sons - Manasseh and Ephraim. This is only the beginning of Ephraim whom will have a difficult time remaining within the peripherals of the tribe. One by one he anoints each child, and acknowledges that you are still in the Kingdom of God, you are heritage of the Lord, and to seek the Promised Land. Some say there was more to say to his twelve sons - from a blended family. You are heirs to the Abrahamaic covenant, then you are in the kingdom of God (Matthew 19:14). Note: Like Jesus, Jacob goes into Egypt with 70 souls. Jesus authorizes about 70-72 individuals to share the gospel (Genesis 46:26 and Luke 10:1).

Judah will be the lawgiver, the scepter and King and Royalty over nations; a ferocious lion. Levi will be a royal nation of the priesthood. Issachar will be a pirate that works by the water, a fisher of the sea. Zebulun will be the educator; Simeon will stay away from Levi because of the massacre in Schechem - together, the two are double trouble; the tribe will be warriors. Gad will be the judge. Dan will press olives. And Asher will have a distinct look (Genesis 49:20). Reuben had saw his step mothers skirt while she was up the stairway, and should not have saw his mother nakedness. Furthermore, for additional examples of the Kingdom of God, during the early stages of the Church when it was a temple and tabernacle, read as follows:

Jacob's Blessing - Gen. 49:3-4
"As for Asher, his food shall be rich, and he shall yield royal dainties."
Moses Blessing - Deuteronomy 33:24
"And of Asher he said, 'More blessed than sons is Asher; May he be favored by his brothers, and may he dip his foot in
oil. Your locks shall be iron and bronze, and according to your days so shall your leisurely walk be."
Jacob's Blessing - Gen. 49:3-4
"Reuben, you are my firstborn, my might, the first sign of my strength, excelling in honor, excelling in power. Turbulent as the waters, you will no longer excel, for you went up onto your father's bed, onto my couch and defiled it."
Moses' Blessing - Deuteronomy 33:6
"Let Reuben live and not die, nor let his men be few."
