Leviticus 8 (New King James Version)
Aaron and His Sons Consecrated
1 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying: 2 "Take Aaron and his sons with him, and the garments, the anointing oil, a bull as the sin offering, two rams, and a basket of unleavened bread; 3 and gather all the congregation together at the door of the tabernacle of meeting."
4 So Moses did as the LORD commanded him. And the congregation was gathered together at the door of the tabernacle of meeting.
5 And Moses said to the congregation, "This is what the LORD commanded to be done."
4 So Moses did as the LORD commanded him. And the congregation was gathered together at the door of the tabernacle of meeting.
5 And Moses said to the congregation, "This is what the LORD commanded to be done."
6 Then Moses brought Aaron and his sons and washed them with water.
7 And he put the tunic on him, girded him with the sash, clothed him with the robe, and put the ephod on him; and he girded him with the intricately woven band of the ephod, and with it tied the ephod on him.
8 Then he put the breastplate on him, and he put the Urim and the Thummim[Leviticus 8:8 Literally the Lights and the Perfections (compare Exodus 28:30)a] in the breastplate.
9 And he put the turban on his head. Also on the turban, on its front, he put the golden plate, the holy crown, as the LORD had commanded Moses.
10 Also Moses took the anointing oil, and anointed the tabernacle and all that was in it, and consecrated them.
10 Also Moses took the anointing oil, and anointed the tabernacle and all that was in it, and consecrated them.
11 He sprinkled some of it on the altar seven times, anointed the altar and all its utensils, and the laver and its base, to consecrate them.
12 And he poured some of the anointing oil on Aaron's head and anointed him, to consecrate him.
13 Then Moses brought Aaron's sons and put tunics on them, girded them with sashes, and put hats on them, as the LORD had commanded Moses.
14 And he brought the bull for the sin offering. Then Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the bull for the sin offering,
13 Then Moses brought Aaron's sons and put tunics on them, girded them with sashes, and put hats on them, as the LORD had commanded Moses.
14 And he brought the bull for the sin offering. Then Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the bull for the sin offering,
15 and Moses killed it. Then he took the blood, and put some on the horns of the altar all around with his finger, and purified the altar. And he poured the blood at the base of the altar, and consecrated it, to make atonement for it.
16 Then he took all the fat that was on the entrails, the fatty lobe attached to the liver, and the two kidneys with their fat, and Moses burned them on the altar.
17 But the bull, its hide, its flesh, and its offal, he burned with fire outside the camp, as the LORD had commanded Moses.
18 Then he brought the ram as the burnt offering. And Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the ram,
18 Then he brought the ram as the burnt offering. And Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the ram,
19 and Moses killed it. Then he sprinkled the blood all around on the altar. 20 And he cut the ram into pieces; and Moses burned the head, the pieces, and the fat.
21 Then he washed the entrails and the legs in water. And Moses burned the whole ram on the altar. It was a burnt sacrifice for a sweet aroma, an offering made by fire to the LORD, as the LORD had commanded Moses.
22 And he brought the second ram, the ram of consecration. Then Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the ram,
22 And he brought the second ram, the ram of consecration. Then Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the ram,
23 and Moses killed it. Also he took some of its blood and put it on the tip of Aaron's right ear, on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot.
24 Then he brought Aaron's sons. And Moses put some of the blood on the tips of their right ears, on the thumbs of their right hands, and on the big toes of their right feet. And Moses sprinkled the blood all around on the altar.
25 Then he took the fat and the fat tail, all the fat that was on the entrails, the fatty lobe attached to the liver, the two kidneys and their fat, and the right thigh;
26 and from the basket of unleavened bread that was before the LORD he took one unleavened cake, a cake of bread anointed with oil, and one wafer, and put them on the fat and on the right thigh;
27 and he put all these in Aaron's hands and in his sons' hands, and waved them as a wave offering before the LORD.
28 Then Moses took them from their hands and burned them on the altar, on the burnt offering. They were consecration offerings for a sweet aroma. That was an offering made by fire to the LORD.
29 And Moses took the breast and waved it as a wave offering before the LORD. It was Moses' part of the ram of consecration, as the LORD had commanded Moses.
30 Then Moses took some of the anointing oil and some of the blood which was on the altar, and sprinkled it on Aaron, on his garments, on his sons, and on the garments of his sons with him; and he consecrated Aaron, his garments, his sons, and the garments of his sons with him.
31 And Moses said to Aaron and his sons, "Boil the flesh at the door of the tabernacle of meeting, and eat it there with the bread that is in the basket of consecration offerings, as I commanded, saying, 'Aaron and his sons shall eat it.'
32 What remains of the flesh and of the bread you shall burn with fire.
33 And you shall not go outside the door of the tabernacle of meeting for seven days, until the days of your consecration are ended. For seven days he shall consecrate you.
34 As he has done this day, so the LORD has commanded to do, to make atonement for you.
35 Therefore you shall stay at the door of the tabernacle of meeting day and night for seven days, and keep the charge of the LORD, so that you may not die; for so I have been commanded."
36 So Aaron and his sons did all the things that the LORD had commanded by the hand of Moses.

COMMENTARY:
To conclude, the eight chapter of Leviticus with the word of god coming unto Moses saying that Aaron and his sons (1st Kings 18:31-36; Exodus 3:6; Genesis 28:16; Matthew 22:32), the priestly garments, the holy anointing oil; bullock for the sin offering, and two rams, and a basket of unleavened bread; and gather all the congregation at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation (Leviticus 8:1-3; Exodus 29:35-37; Exodus 29:1-2,35-37; Matthew 23:19; Psalm 118:3; Psalm 107:1-3,10-11; Psalm 110:4-7; Psalm 115:9-13; Exodus 29:1-3). Many of the regulations for ordaining a priest are listed in Exodus 25 through Exodus 28, as it pertains to Leviticus 8. (Enter video "the best in me, by Sapp and pictures of the cherry blossom picture here, http://www.traveljournals.net/pictures/l/21/217075-a-cherry-blossom-on-the-meadows-edinburgh-united-kingdom.jpg).
The next section of the story line explains that Moses did as the LORD commanded (Leviticus 8:36). He gathered together the assembly at the door of the congregation's tabernacle (Leviticus 8:3-5). Moses said to the congregation, "I am telling you the commandments (mitzvoth's) of the LORD pertaining to His word." God commanded Moses to ordain Aaron as the first High Priest (Leviticus 8:6). He washed the priest and all the sons of his generation with a laver that meets or exceeds the specific purifications for the sanitation system (Leviticus 8:7; Exodus 29:4; 1st Corinthians 15:20-29). Next, the priestly garments were given to Aaron to wear and he put on the ceremonial garments that were the best woolen line: the coat, the girdle ((Exodus 29:5; Job 38:3; Psalm 95:3; Isaiah 3:24; Jeremiah 6:26; Ezekiel 16:10; John 13:5; John 21:18; Exodus 28:8,40; Exodus 29:19; 2nd Kings 1:8; Psalm 109:19; Isaiah 3:24; Jeremiah 13:1; Matthew 3:4; and Revelations 1:13) and the robe and the ephod (Exodus 29:5; Leviticus 8:7; Exodus 28:6-12; Exodus 31:6; Genesis 4:4).
Next, the sons of Aaron are brought in and dressed in the royal priestly coats, were placed in the hands of Aaron and sons, and he wears the breast piece and holy garments are placed onto their bodies, that the wise hearted with the counsel from the wisdom of God (John 6:27; Exodus 28:1,40: Leviticus 8:13; Exodus 29:1; Numbers 18:7; Exodus 29:1,8-10; Exodus 30:30; Exodus 40:15; Exodus 29:42).
After the ordination of which consisted of sprinkling the sin offering of oil and the blood of bullocks and rams, that were slew at the tabernacle door, Aaron is consecrated as the first high priest.
The Urim and Thummin of the breastplate are placed in the hands of Aaron, and he wears the breast piece (Leviticus 8:8; Numbers 27:21; Exodus 28:29, 30; and Exodus 28:15-21). Then Moses placed the Turban on Aaron's head with the gold plate and the sacred diadem (Exodus 28:36-38; Exodus 39:30; Zechariah 14:22; Exodus 29:6).
Then after the sons of Aaron are dressed in the royal priestly garments, Moses anoints the head of Aaron with oil. The anointing oil is utilized to consecrate the not only Aaron in the installation of the priest hood, but also the tabernacle and everything in it, and Aaron with his sons (Exodus 29:8; Exodus 30:7-9,22-33; Leviticus 8:2). The altar is sprinkled seven times, and the altar, its utensils, the basin and his foot. In some other translations of the King James Version, it says the foot of the basin or the stand of the basin. Nevertheless, the basin is also anointed to consecrate Aaron and sons. (Exodus 29:36; John 13:10). John 13:4 -4He rises from supper, and laid aside his garments; and took a towel, and girded himself. John 13:5 - 5After that he poured water into a basin, and began to wash the disciples' feet, and to wipe them with the towel where with he was girded. Jesus performed foot washing, that occurred after the Passover, as Jesus practiced with the twelve Apostles, the original disciples – one that is heir to the sons of Aaron (Psalm 110:4). Yet, the scripture is fulfilled, after Jesus pours water in a basin and washes their feet. Like Jesus, we also must submit to the will of God. If you understand the commandments of God, then you shall perform the command that you shall observe. Jesus said, "Wisdom shall be justified by her children. (Matthew 11:19).
In today's society it may seem impossible to get someone to perform a mitzvoth, true, I do not have the power to make you perform a commandment, and you may not even know the procedures if you don't listen. I notice a lot of people don't listen, and all they do is turn the music up really loud so that they don't have to listen to you. The bottom line is this everything ought to be about God's favor, and pleasing God, this is the Mitzvoth; and the highest attainment of righteousness that will prevail into the Kingdom of Heaven and ultimately the Kingdom of God . Yet, in today's society people still choose to serve gods and are good servants to their idols. The unrighteous will do everything in their power to disrupt your life (yeshiva). Moreover, the son of perdition, an unknown sinner will not repent, and ask you where is your god (Exodus 2:6-8)? Although Moses escaped death, he along with Aaron and sons are a part of the salvation plan, the big picture that God has for you that unction's in the Messianic era. (Matthew 12:18; and Isaiah 42:1-3).
Jesus professional ministry consists of healing people, and then he withdrew himself from the council of the Pharisees, that is against him, to destroy him. Today, there are many people that defy, or blaspheme the Bible, Gods word stands (Psalm 89:42) from A to Z – the last to the first (the beginning to the end). As soon as the word doesn't fit their secret agenda, they despised the counsel of God and rebelled against the words of God at the counsel of God, and do not know the truth. Jesus resurrected on the third day to repay his enemies, and to fulfill the scriptures that insures, assures and ensures our salvation plan: everlasting life; which the resurrection of Jesus is a heavenly message that speaks volumes since Jesus and Elijah are one of the few notable characters, and major subjects in the Bible that brought people back to life (Psalm 41:11-12 and Psalm 9320-22). You are required to know God's love, and he will repay them for their sins and destroy them for their wickedness. So by doing what is right, at the very least God will bring judgment to our enemies, the abominable and blasphemies, by mastering our sin. I say to you when people say that your wisdom is foolishness' you can walk away from their wicked behavior.
Lastly, you hear a lot about peace, but the Messiah is the only one that ensures peace in Jerusalem. It is a travesty, that on Palm Sunday, a Christian cannot enter the city of Jerusalem. It is a travesty that the only way to ensure peace is to discard any other religion because it only means conflict. All Christians ought to want to enter the Holy City of Jerusalem, a place where Jesus walked, preached, healed, taught, and cleansed with His word: the Bible.
All Christians ought to want to enter the Holy City of Jerusalem, a place where Jesus walked, preached, healed, taught, and cleansed with His word: the Bible, the gospel is the power of God. The word of God shall be fulfilled, and woe to those that occupy the promise land and defy; rebel; revolt; and reject the counsel of God, and He whom God has sent – so that you may not err in the scripture; and you may have the right to everlasting life.
Oce Moses had sanctified Aaron and his sons with the anointing oil and consecrated the ordination into the priesthood as everlasting; and also sanctified the entire tabernacle and gave them the priestly garments to wear. Moses brought a bullock for the sin offering (Leviticus 8:14) as part of the consecrated ordination ceremony.
Aaron and his sons were sprinkled with the blood and oil from the altar; and sanctified through the consecration of Moses ordination of the priesthood as God commanded (Leviticus 8:30). After the sanctification from the blood of a ram, from the breast of the wave offering and the shoulder of the heave offering, of the consecration of Aaron and sons: the heave offering from the children of sacrifices of the peace offering and their heave offerings shall belong to Aaron and sons by an everlasting statute (Exodus 29:38; Numbers 28:23; Matthew 3:4, 12-14). By the Grace of God, the everlasting priesthood is an everlasting statute; the faith in God's word is justified by Aaron and sons faith.
However, John the Baptist is a descendant on Aarons and sons line, stationed right in the land that his ancestors fought for, Jordan and Israel, and he did not receive any respect in the land of Judah. John the Baptist arrives on the scene with not much than the wilderness, and the Pharisees listing to do whatever they chose to do to him. John had a leathern girdle and was out in the wilderness eating wild honey and locust (Matthew 11:7-13). Like John the Baptist, Jesus is also a descendant of Aaron, on his maternal line several times over; but his father is from the line of Judah which is from the order of Melchizdek; but the Pharisees did commanded that he would not receive a heave offering from the lost tribe of Israel – the children of Israel's peace offering. Now a peace offering is also called a fellowship offering (shelamim), and that is something I have never had…. (Matthew 13:33 and Luke 13:20). I am waiting for the body of the church to offer me fellowship. John and Jesus were two biblical characters entitled to the heave offering from the peace of the children of Israel by a perpetual statute; also Jesus performed mighty works for repentance. Many people are like the Pharisees, seeing the Lord and Master of the earth and choosing not to heed to the counsel of God, and were not baptized (Isaiah 42:1; and Matthew 12:20). Little did the Pharisees know that the second temple would be destroyed and not be rebuilt until sometime after 2010 AD or Common Era.
Here is a wonderful Passover Story:
Barchu et Adonai hamvorach!; Baruch, baruch Adonai hamvorach l'okam, lo lam vaed
Bar-ruch a-ta Adonai, Eh-lo-hei-nu meh-lech ha-o-lam, bo-rei mo'el ha-eish /
We praise you, eternal God, Sovereign of the Universe, Creator of fire.
Quote of the week: from a shuvah reading "let life abundant be the heritage of all the children of your covenant."
It is getting close to the evening of Shabbat, Havadalah. It is now time to say good bye to a wonderful day of rest and relaxation. A time to reflect on your inner most thoughts, and a time to love, live and learn. (Parshah Tzav: Leviticus Chapter 6 through 8 and Jeremiah Chapters 8 through 9).
Of all the offerings that God commanded Moses to instruct to Aaron, the sons of Aaron the meal offering and it appears that the peace offering are the same. A bull was used in the meal offering. However, the high priest also accepted matzos from the poor. The reason for accepting this offering is because it was so sacred to see the pauper diligent make an offer. To this day, I don't care if it is the Eucharist, The Holy Communion or the Siddur, I am very enthusiastic about the tradition and the perpetual memorial that my ancestors were a part of.... and how they impacted other people to symbolize something like charity and giving.
As long as you see me take Siddur, the Eucharist, or Holy Communion then you know with a shadow of a doubt that I am showing you the inward sign that I am working on the outward appearance of everlasting life. As long as there is an Eternal One, then I want and demand to go boldly to the throne of royalty, through grace and mercy. "I want eternal life."
As our ancestors once echoed in the Revolutionary War, give me liberty or give me death...
Did you know that the Aarons sons eat the remainder of the meal offering. The holy meat of the offerings must be eaten by ritually pure persons, in their designated holy place, and within a specified time. Today, I honor the perpetual statute by reading the Old Testament of the Bible/Torah and being selfless. On April 8th, 2009 from April 15th, 2009, I will re-enact in the privacy of my heart and home that Aaron and his sons, in their vestaments that took place for a time in the kingdom of Judah , remained in the Sanctuary compound for seven days, during which time Moses (inaugurated) initiates them into priesthood.
Dear God we thank you for the transcription that has been dictated over two hundred years ago. We pray for the well being of this family. God you know we don't come to you professing that we have a special connection because we are anointed and we understand that there is one God. I pray that you will give my dirty mouth the appropriate words to share my faith. Most importantly, "We pray that you will give us the faith of all those that read blog and page." We pray that each and every person shall know what eternal life means and will have a better understanding of God, the Eternal One. Most of all, we pray for those who are called by you and those that are your people of the covenant will remain true to you and walk in your ways, listen to your voice and obey your laws - all of this is done when we are your people, a people with a circumcised heart. I pray that you are delivered from Egypt and all of its reproaches, and that your God is my Deliverer.
