The Ten Commandments

¹ And God spoke all these words: ² “I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.

³ “You shall have no other gods before^[a] me.

⁴ “You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. ⁵ You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, ⁶ but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments.

⁷ “You shall not misuse the name of the LORD your God, for the LORD will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses his name.

⁸ “Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. ⁹ Six days you shall labor and do all your work, ¹⁰ but the seventh day is a sabbath to the LORD your God. On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your male or female servant, nor your animals, nor any foreigner residing in your towns. ¹¹ For in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but he rested on the seventh day. Therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.

¹² “Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the LORD your God is giving you.

¹³ “You shall not murder.

¹⁴ “You shall not commit adultery.

¹⁵ “You shall not steal.

¹⁶ “You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor.

¹⁷ “You shall not covet your neighbor’s house. You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, or his male or female servant, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor.”

¹⁸ When the people saw the thunder and lightning and heard the trumpet and saw the mountain in smoke, they trembled with fear. They stayed at a distance ¹⁹ and said to Moses, “Speak to us yourself and we will listen. But do not have God speak to us or we will die.”
²⁰ Moses said to the people, “Do not be afraid. God has come to test you, so that the fear of God will be with you to keep you from sinning.”
²¹ The people remained at a distance, while Moses approached the thick darkness where God was.

²² Then the LORD said to Moses, “Tell the Israelites this: ‘You have seen for yourselves that I have spoken to you from heaven: ²³ Do not make any gods to be alongside me; do not make for yourselves gods of silver or gods of gold.

²⁴ “‘Make an altar of earth for me and sacrifice on it your burnt offerings and fellowship offerings, your sheep and goats and your cattle. Wherever I cause my name to be honored, I will come to you and bless you. ²⁵ If you make an altar of stones for me, do not build it with dressed stones, for you will defile it if you use a tool on it. ²⁶ And do not go up to my altar on steps, or your private parts may be exposed.’

Welcome to the Memorial Parsha of Jesus Christs's Shemot. Haftarah Shemot, Isaiah 27:6- ; Isaiah 28:13 and Isaiah 29:22-23

Exodus5

Moses and Aaron tellPharaoh that they must go to worship their God, but Pharaoh rejects the counselof God, the word of God.

Also pharaoh makes the workfor the Hebrew even more difficult, by taking straw from the bricks, anddemanding the production increase while the Hebrew looks for straw to makebricks. The officers of the children of Pharaoh were beating on the children ofIsrael. Moreover, Pharaoh charged the children of Israel with completing theirwork – for two days (Luke 22:30). Pharaoh responds to the complaint that theychildren are idle because they wanted to sacrifice, to their God.

So the officers of thechildren of Israel did see that they were in an evil predicament, because ofthe adverse and harsh treatment that they were suffering. But through thispeople, God always planned to bring the Messiah to full fruition.

Now the Hebrew people wereready for deliverance because they had held on to God’s word, believed in truthand worshiped him. Then as Moses acted as Priest, Moses asked God, “Why havethe peopled suffered worse than before?”

Have you had those momentswhen you’ve prayed, praised, worshiped and believed the truth that you havefound, and evil comes and messes up everything? I know I have, and I feared Godbecause I saw that the lords of this land, the princes of this world were justplain evil and could not repent, nor stand for stability, as the Psalmist sayswhy do the heathens rage? Since I am writing you then that means that Pharaohdid leave the children of Israel alone, but there are other subtle forms ofleaders that are a stark contrast of the former Pharaoh. Today I can bearwitness of this great travesty of injustice; in all that I just let go and letGod. I have had many days of sorrow, and concern over the foolishness of evilpeople, but God delivered me from the persecution, or I wouldn’t be herewriting you about it. Remember the enemy will test your faith, which is in Himthe Christ. You must carry your cross and stand strong, run to the end, finishit and see what it’s going to be. Remember that it was not until the childrenof Israel had believed and worshiped the word of God, did God say that hewould intercede.

In the next Chapter, Exodus 6,does just what he says he will do, God’s word will come to pass, it won’tfalter. If you think that you ought to have straw to make bricks then yourshould have straw to make your bricks, you are entitled to a good job; notgenocide.

This Parsha opens up with Judah approaching him, Joseph which is the ruler over all the land of Egypt. Vayigash means "he approached him." Genesis 44:18. From this point on Judah goes over the conversation that he had with Joseph about their younger brother, Benjamin for the recompense of the silver cup and that his Father would be appalled if he did not return home. Genesis 44:19-23. Joseph had been told that the baby should stay near the father, Jacob, and it came to pass that their father was given the words of Joseph who had been missing, because he thought Joseph had been succumbed to mischief or foul play, the his father Israel will be sorrowful again if anything should happen to Benjamin, he would worry with grey hairs and die a day early. Video, "God did it." by Evelyn Turrentine-AgeeGenesis 45:8-15Joseph tells them, it is not you that sent me here, but God that has sent me here, made me a fatherly figure to Pharaoh, and lord over all his house, and ruler throughout the land of Egypt.The he ordered them to get his father, tell him that your son Joseph is "alive," and that God has made him lord over all over all of Egypt and that he shall dwell in the land of Goshen. Although the famine will last seven years, Joseph can take care of his father, should you all come in to hardship. Next, Joseph cried again, and Benjamin cried too, upon all his brothers. Isn't this just a wonderful story, but you may not get the entire benefits of some programs that reunify the family without a blood test and interest, which requires your time.Genesis 45:16-24Pharaoh was pleased that Joseph's family was coming. He ordered Joseph to send for his entire family, not just Israel, and he will give them the best land of Egypt. Like his brethren Benjamin fresh clothing, but he also gave Benjamin 300 pieces of silver and five additional changes of fresh clothing. He was sending for his father and gave them plenty of supplies, for the trip too, and told the brothers to get along with each other.Genesis 45:25-28So the brothers safely made it back to the land of Canaan to get their father Jacob. The brothers told their father, Jacob everything that Joseph had said because is still alive, and he is the governor over all the land of Egypt. After hearing this great report that his favorite son was still alive, Israel was so happy that his son had sent for him. Israel said, I want to see my son while I am still alive, this is what he wants and that is to see you his father Israel. Likewise the father said that he needed to see Joseph before he died, and then he knew that he would die only once. Now dieing only once is a true rest in peace, this is what happens to believers that believe on Jesus.

Genesis 44:1-34 A Silver cup in the sack

Joseph sends his half-brothers home with a sack of food, each is given grain but he intends to modify one of the sacks; which is the youngest - his brother. Genesis 44:1. However once the morning arrives, the men are on their way to leave Egypt and return to the land of Canaan with their sack of food, and silver. Joseph instructs his servant to go after them and bear an allegation in regards to the silver cup that is used for divination. So the servant catches up with the brothers and deny that they have the silver cup, and also recommend that the one that has stolen the cup is put to death and the remainder are used as slaves (Genesis 44:2-18).

Joseph decides that he will not kill the men because of the divination cup, after speaking with Judah who knows that Joseph is equal to Pharaoh, meaning whatever he says is final; which means that their guilt has caught up with them it is like the worst kind of bad Karma. Then Joseph asks about his brother Benjamin and his Father, Israel. On one hand, if the half-brothers go back to their father Jacob, with the food, then he will send them again for food. Moreover, if they take Benjamin and leave him to fin for himself and ends up in slavery like Joseph, their father will be full of sorrow his last days (Genesis 44:17-34). It is only until Joseph runs a rouse on the half brothers to make them think about what their father would say and think do they realize that they should never repeat the devious incident that got him sold into slavery in the first place. It is sad, but believe it or not a Black Man can not go anywhere. Some people are very rude and they will not say or well this person is around the wrong place at the wrong time, let us just simply be pleasant and cordial and send him on his way.

The Parable of the Lost Sheep

¹ Now the tax collectors and sinners were all gathering around to hear Jesus. ² But the Pharisees and the teachers of the law muttered, “This man welcomes sinners and eats with them.” ³ Then Jesus told them this parable: ⁴ “Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it? ⁵ And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders ⁶ and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep.’ ⁷ I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.

The Parable of the Lost Coin

⁸ “Or suppose a woman has ten silver coins^[a] and loses one. Doesn’t she light a lamp, sweep the house and search carefully until she finds it? ⁹ And when she finds it, she calls her friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost coin.’ ¹⁰ In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”

The Parable of the Lost Son

¹¹ Jesus continued: “There was a man who had two sons. ¹² The younger one said to his father, ‘Father, give me my share of the estate.’ So he divided his property between them. ¹³ “Not long after that, the younger son got together all he had, set off for a distant country and there squandered his wealth in wild living. ¹⁴ After he had spent everything, there was a severe famine in that whole country, and he began to be in need. ¹⁵ So he went and hired himself out to a citizen of that country, who sent him to his fields to feed pigs. ¹⁶ He longed to fill his stomach with the pods that the pigs were eating, but no one gave him anything.

¹⁷ “When he came to his senses, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired servants have food to spare, and here I am starving to death! ¹⁸ I will set out and go back to my father and say to him: Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. ¹⁹ I am no longer worthy to be called your son; make me like one of your hired servants.’ ²⁰ So he got up and went to his father.

“But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him.

²¹ “The son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son.’

²² “But the father said to his servants, ‘Quick! Bring the best robe and put it on him. Put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet. ²³ Bring the fattened calf and kill it. Let’s have a feast and celebrate. ²⁴ For this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’ So they began to celebrate.

²⁵ “Meanwhile, the older son was in the field. When he came near the house, he heard music and dancing. ²⁶ So he called one of the servants and asked him what was going on. ²⁷ ‘Your brother has come,’ he replied, ‘and your father has killed the fattened calf because he has him back safe and sound.’

²⁸ “The older brother became angry and refused to go in. So his father went out and pleaded with him. ²⁹ But he answered his father, ‘Look! All these years I’ve been slaving for you and never disobeyed your orders. Yet you never gave me even a young goat so I could celebrate with my friends. ³⁰ But when this son of yours who has squandered your property with prostitutes comes home, you kill the fattened calf for him!’

³¹ “‘My son,’ the father said, ‘you are always with me, and everything I have is yours. ³² But we had to celebrate and be glad, because this brother of yours was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’”

²Send thou men, that they may search the land of Canaan, which I give unto the children of Israel: of every tribe of their fathers shall ye send a man, every one a ruler among them.
³And Moses by the commandment of the LORD sent them from the wilderness of Paran: all those men were heads of the children of Israel.
⁴And these were their names: of the tribe of Reuben, Shammua the son of Zaccur.

¹⁸And see the land, what it is, and the people that dwelleth therein, whether they be strong or weak, few or many;

¹⁹And what the land is that they dwell in, whether it be good or bad; and what cities they be that they dwell in, whether in tents, or in strong holds;

²⁰And what the land is, whether it be fat or lean, whether there be wood therein, or not. And be ye of good courage, and bring of the fruit of the land. Now the time was the time of the firstripe grapes."
²¹So they went up, and searched the land from the wilderness of Zin unto Rehob, as men come to Hamath.
²²And they ascended by the south, and came unto Hebron; where Ahiman, Sheshai, and Talmai, the children of Anak, were. (Now Hebron was built seven years before Zoan in Egypt.)
²³And they came unto the brook of Eshcol, and cut down from thence a branch with one cluster of grapes, and they bare it between two upon a staff; and they brought of the pomegranates, and of the figs.
²⁴The place was called the brook Eshcol, because of the cluster of grapes which the children of Israel cut down from thence.
²⁵And they returned from searching of the land after forty days.
²⁶And they went and came to Moses, and to Aaron, and to all the congregation of the children of Israel, unto the wilderness of Paran, to Kadesh; and brought back word unto them, and unto all the congregation, and shewed them the fruit of the land.
²⁷And they told him, and said, "We came unto the land whither thou sentest us, and surely it floweth with milk and honey; and this is the fruit of it.

²⁸Nevertheless the people be strong that dwell in the land, and the cities are walled, and very great: and moreover we saw the children of Anak there.

²⁹The Amalekites dwell in the land of the south: and the Hittites, and the Jebusites, and the Amorites, dwell in the mountains: and the Canaanites dwell by the sea, and by the coast of Jordan."

³⁰And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.
³¹But the men that went up with him said, "We be not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we."
³²And they brought up an evil report of the land which they had searched unto the children of Israel, saying, The land, through which we have gone to search it, is a land that eateth up the inhabitants thereof; and all the people that we saw in it are men of a great stature.
³³And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.

Numbers 14: 1-45

¹And all the congregation lifted up their voice, and cried; and the people wept that night.
²And all the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron: and the whole congregation said unto them, "Would God that we had died in the land of Egypt! or would God we had died in this wilderness!
³And wherefore hath the LORD brought us unto this land, to fall by the sword, that our wives and our children should be a prey? were it not better for us to return into Egypt?"
⁴And they said one to another, "Let us make a captain, and let us return into Egypt."
⁵Then Moses and Aaron fell on their faces before all the assembly of the congregation of the children of Israel.
⁶And Joshua the son of Nun, and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, which were of them that searched the land, rent their clothes:
⁷And they spake unto all the company of the children of Israel, saying, "The land, which we passed through to search it, is an exceeding good land.

⁸If the LORD delight in us, then he will bring us into this land, and give it us; a land which floweth with milk and honey.

⁹Only rebel not ye against the LORD, neither fear ye the people of the land; for they are bread for us: their defence is departed from them, and the LORD is with us: fear them not."
¹⁰But all the congregation bade stone them with stones. And the glory of the LORD appeared in the tabernacle of the congregation before all the children of Israel.
¹¹And the LORD said unto Moses, How long will this people provoke me? and how long will it be ere they believe me, for all the signs which I have shewed among them?

¹²I will smite them with the pestilence, and disinherit them, and will make of thee a greater nation and mightier than they.

¹³And Moses said unto the LORD, Then the Egyptians shall hear it, (for thou broughtest up this people in thy might from among them;)

¹⁴And they will tell it to the inhabitants of this land: for they have heard that thou LORD art among this people, that thou LORD art seen face to face, and that thy cloud standeth over them, and that thou goest before them, by day time in a pillar of a cloud, and in a pillar of fire by night.

¹⁵Now if thou shalt kill all this people as one man, then the nations which have heard the fame of thee will speak, saying,

¹⁶Because the LORD was not able to bring this people into the land which he sware unto them, therefore he hath slain them in the wilderness.

¹⁷And now, I beseech thee, let the power of my lord be great, according as thou hast spoken, saying,

¹⁸The LORD is longsuffering, and of great mercy, forgiving iniquity and transgression, and by no means clearing the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation.

¹⁹Pardon, I beseech thee, the iniquity of this people according unto the greatness of thy mercy, and as thou hast forgiven this people, from Egypt even until now.
²⁰And the LORD said, I have pardoned according to thy word:

²¹But as truly as I live, all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the LORD.

²²Because all those men which have seen my glory, and my miracles, which I did in Egypt and in the wilderness, and have tempted me now these ten times, and have not hearkened to my voice;

²³Surely they shall not see the land which I sware unto their fathers, neither shall any of them that provoked me see it:

²⁴But my servant Caleb, because he had another spirit with him, and hath followed me fully, him will I bring into the land whereinto he went; and his seed shall possess it.
²⁵(Now the Amalekites and the Canaanites dwelt in the valley.) Tomorrow turn you, and get you into the wilderness by the way of the Red sea.
²⁶And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,
²⁷How long shall I bear with this evil congregation, which murmur against me? I have heard the murmurings of the children of Israel, which they murmur against me.

²⁸Say unto them, As truly as I live, saith the LORD, as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you:

²⁹Your carcases shall fall in this wilderness; and all that were numbered of you, according to your whole number, from twenty years old and upward which have murmured against me.

³⁰Doubtless ye shall not come into the land, concerning which I sware to make you dwell therein, save Caleb the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua the son of Nun.

³¹But your little ones, which ye said should be a prey, them will I bring in, and they shall know the land which ye have despised.

³²But as for you, your carcases, they shall fall in this wilderness.

³³And your children shall wander in the wilderness forty years, and bear your whoredoms, until your carcases be wasted in the wilderness.

³⁴After the number of the days in which ye searched the land, even forty days, each day for a year, shall ye bear your iniquities, even forty years, and ye shall know my breach of promise.

³⁵I the LORD have said, I will surely do it unto all this evil congregation, that are gathered together against me: in this wilderness they shall be consumed, and there they shall die.

³⁶And the men, which Moses sent to search the land, who returned, and made all the congregation to murmur against him, by bringing up a slander upon the land,

³⁷Even those men that did bring up the evil report upon the land, died by the plague before the LORD.

³⁸But Joshua the son of Nun, and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, which were of the men that went to search the land, lived still.

³⁹And Moses told these sayings unto all the children of Israel: and the people mourned greatly.
⁴⁰And they rose up early in the morning, and gat them up into the top of the mountain, saying, Lo, we be here, and will go up unto the place which the LORD hath promised: for we have sinned.
⁴¹And Moses said, Wherefore now do ye transgress the commandment of the LORD? but it shall not prosper.

⁴²Go not up, for the LORD is not among you; that ye be not smitten before your enemies.

⁴³For the Amalekites and the Canaanites are there before you, and ye shall fall by the sword: because ye are turned away from the LORD, therefore the LORD will not be with you.

⁴⁴But they presumed to go up unto the hill top: nevertheless the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and Moses, departed not out of the camp.
⁴⁵Then the Amalekites came down, and the Canaanites which dwelt in that hill, and smote them, and discomfited them, even unto Hormah.

Numbers 15:1-41

¹And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
²Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye be come into the land of your habitations, which I give unto you,

³And will make an offering by fire unto the LORD, a burnt offering, or a sacrifice in performing a vow, or in a freewill offering, or in your solemn feasts, to make a sweet savour unto the LORD, of the herd or of the flock:

⁴Then shall he that offereth his offering unto the LORD bring a meat offering of a tenth deal of flour mingled with the fourth part of an hin of oil.

⁵And the fourth part of an hin of wine for a drink offering shalt thou prepare with the burnt offering or sacrifice, for one lamb.

²⁶And it shall be forgiven all the congregation of the children of Israel, and the stranger that sojourneth among them; seeing all the people were in ignorance.

²⁷And if any soul sin through ignorance, then he shall bring a she goat of the first year for a sin offering.

²⁸And the priest shall make an atonement for the soul that sinneth ignorantly, when he sinneth by ignorance before the LORD, to make an atonement for him; and it shall be forgiven him.

²⁹Ye shall have one law for him that sinneth through ignorance, both for him that is born among the children of Israel, and for the stranger that sojourneth among them.

³⁰But the soul that doeth ought presumptuously, whether he be born in the land, or a stranger, the same reproacheth the LORD; and that soul shall be cut off from among his people.

COMMENTARY:

Numbers 13:1-25: Exploring Canaan

In chapter 13, God commands Moses to gather ancestral leaders from each of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel to go explore the land, of the Canaanites – the promise land (Numbers 13:1-16). Moses sends the spies each from a tribe of Israel and the wilderness of Paran, throughout the mountainous region – through Negev, the Wilderness of Zin, Rehob, Lebo Hamath, Hebron and the Valley of Eshkol to see if the land was fertile, or not, and to determine how the people were living in a town or city, even to the region was fortified or not with courage the spies were told to bring back the first ripe grapes, and some of the other first fruit of the lands.

The spikes gathered a branch bearing a single cluster of grapes, on a pole by two men. The others care some pomegranates’ and figs from the valley of Eshkol, at the end of the forty days from exploring the land (Numbers 13:23-25).

Numbers 13:26- Report on the Exploration

The spies, the ancestral tribal leaders of the children returned back to Moses and Aaron and the whole Israelite community as well as the whole assembly at Kadesh in the Desert of Paran, with a report and the fruit of the land. The ancestral tribal leaders sent to explore the land of Canaan said that the land was wonderful, fruitful. However, they were afraid of the people and described the inhabitants of the land of Canaan as being like a big tree with little or no weak branches (the spies gave the report that the land was fruitful, and the people are strong; the cities are fortified; the children of Anak are in Hebron). The explorers basically felt that they did not fit in with people who were doing well and prosperous and that living peacefully alongside the people, as well as conquering the people would not be a good idea because the people are powerful, population (statistics), large fortified cities and the descendants of Anak were in Hebron, the Nephilim (Giant possibly cannibalistic)the Amalekites were in Negev; the Hittites’, Jebusites’ (Jerusalem) and the Amorites’ were living in the hill country; and the Canaanites were living near the ear by the Jordan (river). (Numbers 13:26-39)

Then, Caleb quieted the people and said to Moses and the other people; we can obey God’s word. We can inhabit the promise land. “Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.” (Numbers 13:30). Caleb had a different spirit. He was positive that God would see him through and do all that he said he would do. God is not a man that would lie, God can do anything but fail.

Caleb was positive throughout the entire trip. He knew that if God was before him then no one could be against him. Unfortunately the other men that went to scout the promise land had a different report, a report that was very unfavorable to God and disheartened the hopes and dreams of the entire Israelite community. Whose report will you believe? It is true that sometimes you can become a part of something that takes up all of your time and you won’t be able to tithe God your treasures like your time, your money, your first fruits etc. You have to believe that God will come first, and you have to trust God and expect the best even in the very worst of crisis.

In Chapter 13, the spies were sent to explore the land of Canaan to see the mountainous land, the people that dewell and to determine of the people to see if they were strong, or week, few or many. Moses wanted to know how the people were living. Most of all when he investigated the life style he said be sure that you are courageous, and then believe that you can bring a sample of fruit (13:17-20).

In Chapter 14, Moses instead got a turn of events. He tried to act as intermediary to the people. He petitioned God, to not destroy the people that gave the evil report. So God obliged his prayer. However God said that there would be grave consequences for giving an evil report. At this time there was only the law - there was not much grace. So the individuals except Caleb that gave an evil report with lack of confidence were sentenced to wonder in the desert one year for each day that they wondered into the promise land and did not believe that God would deliver the Israelite community, just as he said that when the Amorites iniquity was full then they would receive their promise land, as promised to the Descendants of Abraham. Somehow during the forty days of exploring the promised land something went wrong when the explorers gave an ill report to Moses, Aaron and the entire Israelite community (Numbers 13:26).

Unfortunately there probably had been many attempts to flee Egyptian oppression, and probably six figures died in the process and so God lead the new formed nation, the Israelite community. Nevertheless, the rebellious and the ones with little faith decided to go to the promise land on their own, and they were met with opposition because the Ark of the Covenant of God was not with them. Like Joshua, even King David knew the importance of regulation in battle and seizing, doubling your proportion and warfare with the ark of the covenant. The rebellious were smoted and discomfited by the Amalekites and the Canaanites (Numbers 14:44).

The good lesson in this Parsha is that God agrees to keep the covenant with the children of the rebellious people, and God protects the children for forty years, and eventually in the book of Deuteronomy by the fifth chapter, these very same children inherit the promise land.

In Chapter 15, there is a Supplementary Offering Law to be observed because he has already given you the promise land as an inheritance. The supplementary (drink, meal, burnt, or meat) offering can be prepared as burnt, vow, special offering, fellowship offering or a sacrificial offering, much like the Saints drink the symbolical blood of the Lord Jesus Christ with the Bread, the one ordinance to the Church. God encourages the Israelite community to bless Him with their threshing floor, to offer offerings this way there will be no idolatry amongst even the stranger or the sojourners (Numbers 15:1-20).

Lastly, in Chapter 15, God commands Moses to ordain the heave offering unto Jehovah. The Heave offering is not only symbolical but this offering causes healing in the body. You don't have to worry about the giants that give their friends jobs while you idoly sit back and envy the heathen, and the idolater. This offering alone ceremoniously and miraculously cleansed the community from intentional sin ignorantly committed without voluntary knowledge of committing a sin. (Numbers 15:17-30). Then a man gathered sticks on the Sabbath Day, we all know that Jesus is Lord of the Sabbath, but in ancient times a man was stoned to death because he gathered sticks on the Sabbath (Numbers 15:32-37).

Finally, a common icon that you see often are the fringes on the borders of the garments (tallits). Many people kiss the garment and pray before the alters of physical sanctuaries. Hopefully you will follow Gods law to look upon it and follow all of his commandments and do them because if you don't then you will go whoring. Otherwise you will remember all the commandments of God and be Holy to your God, for he is Holy. (Numbers 15:36-41). God is Jehovah, He brought you out of the land of Egypt, He will be your God. Jehovah. (Numbers 15:41).

³⁶And under the custody and charge of the sons of Merari shall be the boards of the tabernacle, and the bars thereof, and the pillars thereof, and the sockets thereof, and all the vessels thereof, and all that serveth thereto,

³⁷And the pillars of the court round about, and their sockets, and their pins, and their cords.

³⁸But those that encamp before the tabernacle toward the east, even before the tabernacle of the congregation eastward, shall be Moses, and Aaron and his sons, keeping the charge of the sanctuary for the charge of the children of Israel; and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death.

Today, the Holy Spirit has taught me to receive the gift of faith. I am justified by our faith, for the immediate and the future. (Romans 4:23-25; James 5:17-18; and Romans 5:1.

This Parsha is not for the irrational. Only holiness to Jehovah, will please Him. This is a great lesson about faith. You need no one to validate what God gives you and what you make of yourself is your gift to God. Tithes have always been mandated, but be mindful to have faith that you can give tithes.

On the contrary, you sit right there and no sooner than I can get the blessing out of my mouth, you go all Judas Iscariot on me.

¹⁷And I will set my face against you, and ye shall be slain before your enemies: they that hate you shall reign over you; and ye shall flee when none pursueth you.

¹⁸And if ye will not yet for all this hearken unto me, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins.

¹⁹And I will break the pride of your power; and I will make your heaven as iron, and your earth as brass:

²¹And if ye walk contrary unto me, and will not hearken unto me; I will bring seven times more plagues upon you according to your sins.

²²I will also send wild beasts among you, which shall rob you of your children, and destroy your cattle, and make you few in number; and your high ways shall be desolate.

²³And if ye will not be reformed by me by these things, but will walk contrary unto me;

²⁴Then will I also walk contrary unto you, and will punish you yet seven times for your sins.

²⁵And I will bring a sword upon you, that shall avenge the quarrel of my covenant: and when ye are gathered together within your cities, I will send the pestilence among you; and ye shall be delivered into the hand of the enemy.

²⁶And when I have broken the staff of your bread, ten women shall bake your bread in one oven, and they shall deliver you your bread again by weight: and ye shall eat, and not be satisfied.

²⁷And if ye will not for all this hearken unto me, but walk contrary unto me;

²⁸Then I will walk contrary unto you also in fury; and I, even I, will chastise you seven times for your sins.

²⁹And ye shall eat the flesh of your sons, and the flesh of your daughters shall ye eat.

³⁰And I will destroy your high places, and cut down your images, and cast your carcases upon the carcases of your idols, and my soul shall abhor you. (Leviticus 26, King James Version)

Leviticus 27:1-34

¹And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

²Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When a man shall make a singular vow, the persons shall be for the LORD by thy estimation.

³And thy estimation shall be of the male from twenty years old even unto sixty years old, even thy estimation shall be fifty shekels of silver, after the shekel of the sanctuary.

⁴And if it be a female, then thy estimation shall be thirty shekels.

⁵And if it be from five years old even unto twenty years old, then thy estimation shall be of the male twenty shekels, and for the female ten shekels.

⁶And if it be from a month old even unto five years old, then thy estimation shall be of the male five shekels of silver, and for the female thy estimation shall be three shekels of silver.

⁷And if it be from sixty years old and above; if it be a male, then thy estimation shall be fifteen shekels, and for the female ten shekels.

⁸But if he be poorer than thy estimation, then he shall present himself before the priest, and the priest shall value him; according to his ability that vowed shall the priest value him.

⁹And if it be a beast, whereof men bring an offering unto the LORD, all that any man giveth of such unto the LORD shall be holy.

¹⁰He shall not alter it, nor change it, a good for a bad, or a bad for a good: and if he shall at all change beast for beast, then it and the exchange thereof shall be holy.

¹¹And if it be any unclean beast, of which they do not offer a sacrifice unto the LORD, then he shall present the beast before the priest:

¹²And the priest shall value it, whether it be good or bad: as thou valuest it, who art the priest, so shall it be.

¹³But if he will at all redeem it, then he shall add a fifth part thereof unto thy estimation.

¹⁴And when a man shall sanctify his house to be holy unto the LORD, then the priest shall estimate it, whether it be good or bad: as the priest shall estimate it, so shall it stand.

¹⁵And if he that sanctified it will redeem his house, then he shall add the fifth part of the money of thy estimation unto it, and it shall be his.

¹⁶And if a man shall sanctify unto the LORD some part of a field of his possession, then thy estimation shall be according to the seed thereof: an homer of barley seed shall be valued at fifty shekels of silver.

¹⁷If he sanctify his field from the year of jubile, according to thy estimation it shall stand.

¹⁸But if he sanctify his field after the jubile, then the priest shall reckon unto him the money according to the years that remain, even unto the year of the jubile, and it shall be abated from thy estimation.

¹⁹And if he that sanctified the field will in any wise redeem it, then he shall add the fifth part of the money of thy estimation unto it, and it shall be assured to him.

²⁰And if he will not redeem the field, or if he have sold the field to another man, it shall not be redeemed any more.

²¹But the field, when it goeth out in the jubile, shall be holy unto the LORD, as a field devoted; the possession thereof shall be the priest's.

²²And if a man sanctify unto the LORD a field which he hath bought, which is not of the fields of his possession;

²³Then the priest shall reckon unto him the worth of thy estimation, even unto the year of the jubile: and he shall give thine estimation in that day, as a holy thing unto the LORD.

²⁴In the year of the jubilee the field shall return unto him of whom it was bought, even to him to whom the possession of the land did belong.

²⁵And all thy estimations shall be according to the shekel of the sanctuary: twenty gerahs shall be the shekel.

²⁶Only the firstling of the beasts, which should be the LORD's firstling, no man shall sanctify it; whether it be ox, or sheep: it is the LORD's.

²⁷And if it be of an unclean beast, then he shall redeem it according to thine estimation, and shall add a fifth part of it thereto: or if it be not redeemed, then it shall be sold according to thy estimation.

²⁸Notwithstanding no devoted thing, that a man shall devote unto the LORD of all that he hath, both of man and beast, and of the field of his possession, shall be sold or redeemed: every devoted thing is most holy unto the LORD.

²⁹None devoted, which shall be devoted of men, shall be redeemed; but shall surely be put to death.

Commentary:

Nothing is more important that the gifts of the Holy Spirit, the wisdom of receive, discern and have knowledge without any hesitance that you have the hope that is Special Faith - you still have joy in all of your trials and tribulations. Can I imagine being tied to a group of people that I identify with and claiming to have a special religion, only one that promises peace in the near future and the distance too. Religion or not, the Holy Spirit promises special gifts of God. Thinking back at my search for my heritage, I wondered what my ancestors Cherokee thought and the hopes that they had for theirselves and their children. I think expecting peace and love was on their mind because there is nothing more that I feel right now. Remember: God will wipe away every tear, He is Holy. In chapter 26 of the book of Leviticus, God gives rain, safety, peace, victory over your enemies, lordship over wild beast, favor, The Abrahamic Covenant, food, and His dwelling place to name a few. Read the New Covenant, God through His Son Jesus Christ gives you Love, Grace, Joy, abundance in Peace and Prosperity (Health and Fiances et al) and Justification etc.

In the opening Chapter god cautions you to use your free will to worship God. Magnifying Gods name means that you will shall not make idols (idolatry) Isaiah 19:1. I don't think about the connection that I have with anyone, however, I do think about having special faith, only an increase the Holy Ghost can give me, no more than I understand or can intelligently comprehend what to do with this special faith. I am justified in my faith by believing on my High Priest the Lord Jesus.

Be sure to use your free will to worship God. Don't try to get into anybody else's family or network of friends - if it's too much for you then don't practice idolatry. Yet there are many major religions that bow down before graven images, standing images and set-up stones of image -throughout your land. God is the God of the entire Universe, My God is Host of your gods. God, Jehovah, Father God - he alone is worthy of your praise, worship, service, submission, and your glory-most importantly He alone is worthy of your bow. Nothing else matters (Exodus 20:4; Deut. 5:8; Psalm 97:7).

Now when you walk in these statutes (Lev. 26:3), keeping the Sabbath and revere is sanctuary, His commandments, and do them then God will bless you for your obedience in the word. This passage lets me know that I can anticipate a blessing that has already been affirmed once I realize that the prophecy has been fulfilled then you know that there is a blessing. A prophecy is a foretold blessing. If there is a religion or a desire to associate with individuals who utter the prophetic word of God then I am guilty.

God will bless you in your obedience, to the word. God loves you, always. When you Glorify the name of God he tells you early that there is a place of his choosing, the Temple and Jerusalem. With so much rime and corruption against from the people occupying the physical churches that we do not have to walk in the statutes of God by teaching of the Holy Spirit - the Sanctuary is your body - the Body of Christ. Then the choosing of a place to Glorify His Name is the New Jerusalem - in Heaven. (Leviticus 19:30; Romans 5:1-2; Deut. 11:13; Revelations 21:2; 2nd Samuel 24:18-25; 1st Chronicles 21:18; 2nd Chronicles 3:1; and Ezekiel 45-16 through Ezekiel 46:18).

Lastly, the reason you should not be afraid of being alone, or even afflicted is because of God's great love for you and your ability to express the receiving of this blessing by making Disciple (Matthew 28:18-2)/ You will be in heaven and reconciled to the One True God, this is what the Apostle Paul teaches, this is true of the afterlife for you who truly love God, nothing will ever separate you from God (Romans 11:15 and Romans 5:10-11).

Romans 11:15. For if the casting away of them be the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving of them be, but life from the dead?

Romans 5:10-11.

10For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

11And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.

Finally scriptures says, in Romans 15:5-6, "5Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be like minded one toward another according to Christ Jesus: 6That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ."

Thalia's Journal: Disciples Parsha Tetzaveh - Exodus 27:20 through E...: "Jesus said, Luke 12:47-48 - Verse 47 And that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his wi..."

Psalm 45:7 - ⁷Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.

Jesus said John 14:31 ³¹ but he comes so that the world may learn that I love the Father and do exactly what my Father has commanded me.

Commentary:

Jesus is the Messiah that God sent me, because this is what I tell any idolater that is not awaiting the Messiah. I tell any Christian that tells me that Jehovah will share His Glory with anyone, especially a Christian that tells me he or she is the "collateral." Jesus paid a price for me, he is my collateral, my redeemer, and my everything. People want the Messiah on their terms, with out being converted from idolatry. As a matter of fact in the first century, there was movement that did not accept Jesus as the Messiah because the non-believers that were against the Church of God wanted Jesus to overthrow the ruling but oppressive regime, at that time it was the idolaters of the Roman Empire. In everybody's life there are going to be oppressive regimes that come against the Church of God, with Jesus at the head to suppress the movement of reconciling to God through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Once the teaching is suppressed then you may have a difficult time actually performing for an audience of One and that is Jehovah.

The Saints. The Late Great Apostle Betty Pebbles

Pastor and the Apostle Betty Pebbles taught that God is the audience of One - after reconciliation back to the Almighty God. She said in her testimony that she would ultimately perform for the Almighty God. She knew that she will always have a Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ - the first begotten fruit of the dead, the undead and sons of God etc.

Nevertheless, there are going to be oppression against the believers in the body of Christ. The Church will suffer persecution. Jesus said that the Devil, the anti-Christ, is coming and he has no hold over Him, after rising from the final supper with his Apostles (John 14:30). As a believer in Christ, I take practice the last supper almost several times a day, everyday. I try to fast from fast food, television or anything that would interfere with the Lord and remembrance of the Lord Jesus Christ, the King of the Jews - the Chosen Messiah. Jesus promises a second coming, and the Church, and the over two billion Christians should be ready for the advent of the Messiah's second coming. I don't worry about the second coming of Jesus Christ because the Devil will have no hold over the Lord Jesus Christ. The word of God says that he will only be caught up once, the second time Jesus will command the saints to reign on earth for a thousand years - as co-joint heirs in Christ - with the Saints of God. (Isaiah 53; John 14; Revelations 20). The Church of God (7 types of Churches) will bind to the bridgegroom, Jesus Christ, after the forces of six types oppression and others types of oppression: Egyptian (pharonic gods); Assyrian; Babylonian (Babylonian); Persian; Greek (Canaanite gods); Roman (Canaanite gods) will continue to wax unrelenting persecution against the Church of God even until now in 2011 (Revelations 1-6). As you can see the Hamitic gods flourished throughout Europe, and the land of Canaan and the land of Nimrod. Through our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, we have a new message of Good News for all mankind. Right about now, you are saying, "how is this so the Church of God is the most powerful spiritual and physical entity in the whole world?" The physical Church of God can be tempted, aggravated, provoked, seduced into an imperfect diamond - through corruption of false religions with the agenda of supporting the manifest of the false gods - the anti-Christ. Jesus is not a false religion, a false god. Jesus is many things to many people. Jesus is not a false god of gods. As believers in Christ, it is the duty of the Evangelist to explain the case of Jesus Christ. At the same time the Evangelist keeps the Church of God together. Jesus is peace, and I can promise you won't be disappointed, he will lead you into a perfect truth with Jehovah (Habakkuk 2:2-3). Now there is a difference in the Annointing of God and the Perfect Law of God. I challenge you to wait on the Annointing of God. (Psalm 45:7) (Romans 7:14)

In regular years, the 14th of Adar is Purim, the festival that celebrates the salvation of the Jewish people from Haman's evil decree in the year 3405 from creation (356 BCE). In a leap year -- which has two Adars -- Purim is celebrated in Adar II, and the 14th of Adar I is designated as Purim Kattan, the "Little Purim." There are no special observances, however, associated with Purim Kattan, other than the omission of Tachnun ("supplications") from the daily prayers and a prohibition against fasting or holding eulogies on this day. The Code of Jewish Law cites an opinion that one should increase in festivity and joy, but rules that there is no obligation to do so; "Nevertheless,a person should increase somewhat in festivity... for 'One who is of good heart is festive always' " (Shulchan Aruch, Orach Chaim 697:1). ²Speak unto the children of Israel, that they turn and encamp before Pihahiroth, between Migdol and the sea, over against Baalzephon: before it shall ye encamp by the sea.

³For Pharaoh will say of the children of Israel, They are entangled in the land, the wilderness hath shut them in.

⁵And it was told the king of Egypt that the people fled: and the heart of Pharaoh and of his servants was turned against the people, and they said, "Why have we done this, that we have let Israel go from serving us?"
⁶And he made ready his chariot, and took his people with him:
⁷And he took six hundred chosen chariots, and all the chariots of Egypt, and captains over every one of them.

⁸And the LORD hardened the heart of Pharaoh king of Egypt, and he pursued after the children of Israel: and the children of Israel went out with an high hand.
⁹But the Egyptians pursued after them, all the horses and chariots of Pharaoh, and his horsemen, and his army, and overtook them encamping by the sea, beside Pihahiroth, before Baalzephon.
¹⁰And when Pharaoh drew nigh, the children of Israel lifted up their eyes, and, behold, the Egyptians marched after them; and they were sore afraid: and the children of Israel cried out unto the LORD.

¹¹And they said unto Moses, "Because there were no graves in Egypt, hast thou taken us away to die in the wilderness? wherefore hast thou dealt thus with us, to carry us forth out of Egypt?
¹²Is not this the word that we did tell thee in Egypt, saying, Let us alone, that we may serve the Egyptians? For it had been better for us to serve the Egyptians, than that we should die in the wilderness."

¹³And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever.
¹⁴The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.

¹⁵And the LORD said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward:

¹⁶But lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thine hand over the sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea.

¹⁷And I, behold, I will harden the hearts of the Egyptians, and they shall follow them: and I will get me honour upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen.

¹⁸And the Egyptians shall know that I am the LORD, when I have gotten me honour upon Pharaoh, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen.

¹⁹And the angel of God, which went before the camp of Israel, removed and went behind them; and the pillar of the cloud went from before their face, and stood behind them:
²⁰And it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel; and it was a cloud and darkness to them, but it gave light by night to these: so that the one came not near the other all the night.
²¹And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the LORD caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided.

²²And the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea upon the dry ground: and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left.

²³And the Egyptians pursued, and went in after them to the midst of the sea, even all Pharaoh's horses, his chariots, and his horsemen.

²⁴And it came to pass, that in the morning watch the LORD looked unto the host of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and of the cloud, and troubled the host of the Egyptians,

²⁵And took off their chariot wheels, that they drave them heavily: so that the Egyptians said, Let us flee from the face of Israel; for the LORD fighteth for them against the Egyptians.

²⁶And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand over the sea, that the waters may come again upon the Egyptians, upon their chariots, and upon their horsemen.
²⁷And Moses stretched forth his hand over the sea, and the sea returned to his strength when the morning appeared; and the Egyptians fled against it; and the LORD overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea.

²⁸And the waters returned, and covered the chariots, and the horsemen, and all the host of Pharaoh that came into the sea after them; there remained not so much as one of them.

²⁹But the children of Israel walked upon dry land in the midst of the sea; and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left.

³⁰Thus the LORD saved Israel that day out of the hand of the Egyptians; and Israel saw the Egyptians dead upon the sea shore. (Exodus 14, King James Version).

So Moses and the Israelites crossed the Red Sea, or better known as the Sea of Reeds. Moses did just as God had commanded and camped before Pi Hahiroth, betweedn Migdol and the sea, opposite Baal Zephon. The people stayed by the eas as God Command at he nahd of Moses.

God warned Moses that the would harden the heart of Pharaoh, the king of Egypt. Sometimes it is only God that can harden our heart, and it is only God that can offer us true repentance, no matter whom we let in our lives to be our gods to govern over us. Jesus said that the twelve tribes of Israel would govern or rule over the twelve tribes of Israel.

Unfortunately for the Israelites, this was a time that God would gain honor over the Israelites and over all his army. Here we see that the Angels, the Lord Jesus, and Jehovah were working together, because the word of God said and "they did so." Pharaoh like Tyre was in the garden of Eden, the garden of the LORD, and he was a serpent and he transgressed the commandments of God, as you read in the Memorial Parsha of Va'era, Shemot, and Bo - the Egyptians feared only their god which was Pharoah and were very good at performing tricks. As a result Pharaoh's heart is hardened and decides to rescind his word to let the Israelites go to serve their God, to honor the Sabbath. Yet Moses clearly explains to Pharoah each time that God has hardened his heart that Exodus 10:9⁹Moses said, "We will go with our young and our old. We will go with our sons and daughters and with our flocks and herds, for^(H) we must hold a feast to the LORD." ¹⁰But he said to them, "The LORD be with you, if ever I let you and your^(I) little ones go! Look, you have some evil purpose in mind.^[a] ¹¹No! Go, the men among you, and serve the LORD, for that is what you are asking." And they were driven out from Pharaoh’s presence.

Sometimes another person, not just a gentile will be so anxious to rule over your life that they will forget about what God has said, and how his hand will play a fate in your blessing and judgment in today and most definitely in the last day. One day you will be judged for your good deeds and your bad deeds, so you can run behind a Christian all you want, Jesus will be there to give your judgment and turn all the jew and the gentile over to one God.

This is the most exciting chapter in the entire book. Many people will try to refute that the Israelites crossed through a sea. Many people will try to refute that the Israelites did not meet great challenges in trying to leave Egypt, i.e., 100,000 were killed on their way trying to leave Egypt by the coast. Yet with so many challenges no matter how much Pharaoh and his people used sorcery, evil divination and magic, he could not do what God has done; neither can Pharaoh and his people do what God is doing in your life and my life. As long as their is evil people will desire you to be in the system. You have to remember that trouble doesn't last always, when you are child of God you will be free when you resurrect and return to this earth. All you have to do is hold your peace and God will fight your battle. You don't have to walk around troubled and twisted with a broken spirit. No matter what Pharoah and his people thought in the land of Egypt (Hamitic). It was not so because God did so. This is a good time to know that God will meet you at your personal redemption even when you have six hundred military chariots chasing you. God will deliver you into freedom, from what ever physical and personal bondage that you are going through.

¹Then the LORD said unto Moses, Now shalt thou see what I will do to Pharaoh: for with a strong hand shall he let them go, and with a strong hand shall he drive them out of his land.

²And God spake unto Moses, and said unto him, I am the LORD:

³And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name JEHOVAH was I not known to them.

⁴And I have also established my covenant with them, to give them the land of Canaan, the land of their pilgrimage, wherein they were strangers.

⁵And I have also heard the groaning of the children of Israel, whom the Egyptians keep in bondage; and I have remembered my covenant.

Commentary:

In five minutes or less. I want to say that this Parsha is almost as intriguing as the first Parsha in the book of Exodus, which chronicles the lives of the children of Israel. Many of our ancestors who learn the hard way that sin does not pay. You seem to never get ahead for 413 years. Sounds like someone you know. I bet. Yet God remembers his friend, the righteous believer Abraham and he says that enough is enough. Much like the open square that the Angels of the LORD God once stood in after talking to Abraham and then Lot, then he destroys the area around Zoar, which is Sodom and Gommorrah city limits - in the land of Canaan. If you remember earlier, in Genesis 9, an earlier Parsha Noah warns Canaan, not Ham that impulsitivity would not be worthless.

Exodus 9:1-7: The Plague on the Livestock

In the last chapter of the Memorial Parsha of Va’era God speaks to Moses and commands that he goes to Pharaoh once more and tells him, I AM, said “Let My People go.” If you continue to refuse to let My People then the hand of Jehovah will come against your livestock. Jehovah will make a distinction between your livestock and the livestock of the Israelites, and their livestock will not die.

This is amazing that God would continue to make a distinction between His People, because in this Parsha as well as Parsha Vayeshev (Genesis 37:1-40:23), Miketz (Genesis 41-Genesis 44:17),Vayigash (Genesis 44:18-47:27), and Vayechi (Genesis 47:28-Genesis 50:26) the Egyptians are rejecting the God’s Chosen People, the anointing of God is what they have rejected probably for a better eternity through Pharaoh and a diet free from lamb. It takes a lot of energy to reject a person, not just exalting yourself over that person but the times that you open up your religious book while I chewing on a snack, and then you wait till I stop chewing to board a public bus. Falsifying medical records and causes long errors because you don’t believe in the God of Israel, the God of the Hebrews and interfering with the anointing because you think in your sphere it is hyper-religion. It is very annoying to watch a person in 2010, spend a good amount of energy rejecting a person by refusing to eat a meal with that person, or waiting till they stop eating or leave the room to eat… and the meal is free – there is no credit card involved. Pharaoh investigated and saw that the livestock of the Israelites (lamb) was not impacted by the plague. Pharaoh continued sin and refused to repent and listen to the words of Moses, commanded of God.

Nevertheless, the next day, at the appointed time God did that thing. He caused all of the Egyptian livestock died. All of the lamb and the livestock in the field - livestock in the field—on your horses, donkeys and camels and on your cattle, sheep and goats of the Israelites did not die because had put a difference between them. The lamb is symbolical of the anointed Messiah, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Exodus 9:8-12: The Plague of Boils

Then Jehovah spoke to Aaron and they did as LORD Your God commanded in the sight of Pharaoh. Moses took a handful of (ashes) soot as commanded of God, and threw the ashes in the air. The ashes were symbolical of the prayers and tears and frustrations of the saints. (Revelations 5:8). In very destitute times, you can only uses ashes and sackcloth from the furnace, or the last acceptable sacrifice. After Moses has thrown the ashes into the air, then the Egyptians and the magicians were inflicted with boils upon everyone in the land of Egypt. The LORD Your God hardened the heart of Pharaoh, and he did not listen to them. (Exodus 7:13-14, 22; 8:32; 9:7; 9:12).

Exodus 9:13-33: The Plague of Hail

God speaks to Moses again and prepares him to go before Pharaoh to speak on behalf of the Israelites so that they can be redeemed from the affliction of bondage, and all of the unnecessary burdens etc. Pharaoh had exalted himself against the people of God and refused to let them go.

God spoke to Moses, and he did as God commanded and stretched out his rod toward heaven and God caused hail upon the land of Egypt. God sent plagues that had never been seen in the land of Egypt, since it was a sovereign nation and the state worship was mandated idolatry. Yet, God raised Pharaoh up for this very reason and many lived through the eight or so plagues, but God had promised the next plague would be full force (hail upon the land of Egypt: hail and fire that smote all of the fields) and impacted the public officials. (Exodus 9:22-25). God said, “I have raised you up^[a] for this very purpose, that I might show you my power and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth. ¹⁷ You still set yourself against my people and will not let them go.”

On the contrast, there was no hail in the land of Goshen, where the children of Israel lived. (Isaiah 32:18,19; Exodus 9:26).

The next day God spoke the plague of hail on Egypt. The servants of Egypt who feared the word of God through the commands from Moses protected their property from the plague of hail, and brought theirselves, their slaves and their livestock – and anything of value indoors for shelter.

As God spoke, the next day a plague of Hail was sent throughout the entire land of Egypt, like never before. It was the worst storm in all the land of Egypt since it had become a nation. ²⁵ Throughout Egypt hail struck everything in the fields—both people and animals etc. For instance, even the “³¹ the flax and barley were destroyed, since the barley had headed and the flax was in bloom. ³² The wheat and spelt, however, were not destroyed, because they ripen later.” (Exodus 9:31-32).

Again, Pharaoh pleaded with Moses and Aaron summons them and said that he is wrong and the people are wrong. Pharaoh admitted that he was wrong because he wanted the plague of hail to stop; and then he would let the people of God go to serve God and be His chosen. Moses left the city, and asked interceded to God on behalf of Pharaoh and the plague of hail stopped. Pharaoh’s heart hardened, and he did sinned again and he and his officials had hardened hearts – and did not let the people go.

In closing, there will come a people one day that will not assimilate or be anything other than a proud Jewish race, a proud Jewish religion and most importantly a proud Jewish Nationality. The people will serve God and usher in the last days of the Messiah. Although we are in the last days, the people will acknowledge the Messiah and will not worry about rejection. There will only be peace in the name of the One Lord, One Baptism, and One faith in God. (Ephesians 5:4).

Finally, the Haftorah is prophesied by the prophet Ezekiel that the kingdom of Tyrus that no longer exist lifted their hand as the heart and the is in the seat of God (Jerusalem). You have been in the garden of Eden, and you know what it is like for God to provide all of your needs, but there will be a time that you will be in war with other nations. Yet you still have been on the holy mountain of God (the hills in Jerusalem) for protection and you know that God is sovereign but as as a nation you will not. Next the prophecy is set against the Sidon, who has caused the House of Israel to be scattered amongst the nations. God's hand of judgment will be in the midst of Sidon on every side: woods from the pestilence and bloodshed - and they shall know that "I AM" is Jehovah. No longer will Sidon, add wood to the fire of idolatry, nor shall Sidon be a grieving thorn just let by gones be gone even though you despised them and they shall know that I AM Jehovah. Even in a war torn land, Jehovah commands that 1) Ezekial 28:25 - ²⁵Thus saith the Lord GOD; When I shall have gathered the house of Israel from the people among whom they are scattered, and shall be sanctified in them in the sight of the heathen, then shall they dwell in their land that I have given to my servant Jacob; 2) Ezekial 28:26 - ²⁶And they shall dwell safely therein, and shall build houses, and plant vineyards; yea, they shall dwell with confidence, when I have executed judgments upon all those that despise them round about them; and they shall know that I am the LORD their God, which is Jehovah, The LORD Your GOD.

In the book of Ezekial the 29th Chapter,

¹In the tenth year, in the tenth month, in the twelfth day of the month, the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

²Son of man, set thy face against Pharaoh king of Egypt, and prophesy against him, and against all Egypt:

³Speak, and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, Pharaoh king of Egypt, the great dragon that lieth in the midst of his rivers, which hath said, My river is mine own, and I have made it for myself.

⁴But I will put hooks in thy jaws, and I will cause the fish of thy rivers to stick unto thy scales, and I will bring thee up out of the midst of thy rivers, and all the fish of thy rivers shall stick unto thy scales. more....

In the book of Ezekial, Chapter 29, eventually the gods in the land of Egypt, the King of Pharaoh would prove to fail the king of Egypt and throughout the land. Jehovah said Egypt shall no longer be a prominent nation because ¹⁵It shall be the basest of the kingdoms; neither shall it exalt itself any more above the nations: for I will diminish them, that they shall no more rule over the nations. The prophet Jeremiah announces the downfall of the Pharaoh's (Pharaohonic) Dynasty. Yet, the House of Israel will have the strength in the midst of them to speak wisely in their natural tongue without fear of rejection and exile - the isms that come with a prophet outside the gates of Jerusalem because the Lord of Saboath is with them (Jeremiah 44:1-15; Isaiah 11:1).
